Has anyone else noticed that you can't edit messages posted in group discussions?
Technically, the option is there to 'edit post', there's just no way to save the edited post, very odd.
Right now the only solution I can see is creating a new post as a reply but that's annoying.

Am I missing something?

Hmm. Yeah, I tried clicking everywhere. Doesn't save the edit.

Even if it was working for me, if that's really the intended behaviour it seems a curious choice at best. A 'submit/cancel' button like in other areas of the site would make more sense here than just a click in a random area of the page. Seems like an oversight to me.

It's not an oversight. It uses Ajax to submit the form when it loses focus.

Maybe so. I still think it's questionable that having no submit button is the intended design, especially when other similar pages on this site don't behave the same way.
