I want a darkspawn companion. I'm actually quite serious.

Cullen. Don't worry. It's impossible that bioware didn't listen to the fangirls... -_-

Seconded. Bonus points if he has luscious golden locks and a sexy Ferelden accent!

...I just realized we never had one.

That's kind of surprising.

We had an almost-Templar: Alistair.

And we've had a few that were close, like Justice or Fenris whose abilities are like that of Templars.

And Carver is a Templar on one path. Not a full companion, but he is a companion.

I imagine that we're going to get Cullen as a companion, but I dunno... I'd prefer the Lake Calenhad Templar that fought any enemies that were there with his fists.

Seconded.

Yea, it seems like it. Maybe we'll get two templars..... and a blood mage for good measure. You know, just to keep the party banter intreasting. =3

A proper brainwashed Templar might be fun. We only had a semi-templar before. I want a fanatic this time.

Not that one. This is a guy who's kneeling and praying for the lives of all of the Mages and Templars lost in what happened after the quest is done.

But the one I quoted was so much fun. I would like to see the Templar you mentioned as well, but I wouldn't mind a fanatic that I can talk circles around, make fun of, and have him not know of it. :wizard:

As long as he doesn't constantly whine about how evil mages are over and over, then yeah I would love one.

I like Allistair, but he would seriously suck as a templar. xD

Personally, compared to Cullen for example, I never took his opinion about mages seriously.

This. I'm over the one dimensional characters, if there's a character that happens to have more than a single opinion or life event they want to share with me, they can be a Cow-Bell Toating Ogre for all I care. I will sing their praises until i'm blue in the face.

Just please, give me something good to work with this time around.

She's a Seeker, which I guess is a different faction technically. She still has Templar ideals/abilities though.

What about one that just suddenly kills a mage during a conversation?

If the mage is an ass, then sure.

Well, the templar has to be badass. Personally, I'd be glad with one of those who rebelled against the chantry and with ruthless feelings toward mages.
