More options need to be in the CC. We need even more hairstyles, beards, tattoos and accessories. Also scars should be part of the CC because I find it a bit silly that every warrior in the Dragon Age universe has clean skin. Those who have seen many battles will surely have taken a few hits and should be given a few scars, likewise we should be able to give our character some scars and not little light ones, we're talking about deep ones.

And I would so love to be able to give an individual color to each eye so you have two different colored eyes. Phenotype customization should be included too so you can sort of edit the body size of your character like the character creator's of NWN, Two Worlds 2 and Dragon's Dogma feature.

Based on what little we know, this title is set during a time where Thedas is in a state of chaos, I think a character who looks battle wearied with scars showing his/her experience and time in battle would be rather suitable in such a setting (just as they would have been in past Dragon Age games).

I opt for better scars for female PC's, or maybe scars that can be the arms/neck of the PC instead of just the face

Assuming we're starting with a brand new character, I want to play as a qunari.

Facial Structure. This one is important, cause let's face it. Dragon Age 2 didn't have facial structure, it had play-dough.
Hair that is not made of finely carved wood.
Eyes that are neither overly sad, nor overly surprised or shocked.
More than 5 tattoo choices. (Yes that's a guess, because I haven't actually counted since I modded my game to hell)
Facial scars.
More varied complections than "Baby Face" or "Old Crone who drank way too much for way too long".

And above all else. Above *everything* else and if you can achieve this Bioware, my god even the modders haven't been able to give me this - Actual ginger hair. Not neon orange, not flame red - Actual Ginger, it's the unobtainable dream.

Range of good scars for girls AND guys, and freckles would be nice too. The modders stepped in to provide these for DA2 and I found they were mods I really appreciated.

Oh yeah! Freckles too and maybe an option to add some beauty spots.

More complexions would be nice too.

Excluding the height or weight parameters, something similar to Dragon's Dogma's or Saints Row 3's CC would be nice.

look at dragons dogma. I'm not saying copy the actual designs but the array of options they gave in that game was great, they didn't do everything right but there was so much more depth than in either DA game.

I do. Being able to start  as someone who believes in the Qun(and then loses or reinforces their faith throughout the story) would be cool. But that would be a lot of work.

indeed, would be a very interesting thing to see

and while we are on interesting character, i normally NEVER play humans (if given a choice), however Being able to be a Chasind might change my mind.

Hmmm...

Yeah races still might not return (what with a voiced protagonist providing some limitations) but we could still have origins for a human character who could come from different regions. Though I guess the prospect of origins reappearing deserves its own thread.

I really don't see the problem with having one person do the voices of all races. If it limits the role playing, perhaps the PC should not be voiced.

Just... way more options than we had in the previous games. More hairstyles, beards, hair- and eye colours, stuff like scars, tattoos, freckles etc. Ideal would also be options to adjust height and build.

MOAR face customization. I struggled in both DA:O and DA2 to create a character that looked the way I wanted. Although, with DA2's art style I was able to create a character that I at least thought looked cool/interesting.

A face code would be cool, so that we can reuse previous custom faces without going through the hassle of trying to recreate them. Aside from that:

Fancier/more hairstyles (if long hair is still impossible due to clipping, then prettier up-styles) Freckles/moles/beauty spots/scars
Facial/ear piercings
More makeup options
More makeup colours (the black eyeshadow option looked blue-ish grey)
Advanced facial feature customisation
Darker black hair (because the black in DA2 looked dark brown)
More shades/tones of hair colour
More skin tones
Body tattoos (if possible)
The option to get our character to pull faces in the character creator so that we can see if he/she will look derpy.

More body types a la SW:TOR, I mean, maybe restrict the overweight body type to mages since that wouldn't make much sense for a seasoned warrior or agile rogue not to have a fit body.
