What influences would DA3 take from Skyrim?

Everywhere.

- more open world elements
- crafting
- different factions to join
I would also wish that BioWare stay away from too many fantasy armour like in Skyrim. Once you get past steel plate and leather, it was ridiculous.

I'd love this. I'm still surprised how much I enjoyed reading books in Skyrim.

If they had to take something away from Skyrim I would hope it would be the concept of a more player-driven experience, and less linear cinematic-driven experience. See Baldur's Gate 1 for further detail.

While I do not wish for a sandbox, it would be great for more encounters, scenic landscapes, and/or exploration between major cities and points of interest.
Less restriction on the classes; more like DAO and Skyrim.
Kill cams should return, as well as the ability to take sxcreenshots for Journals *crosses fingers*
Jumping, swimming, and other like methods of mobility would be great.
Horses?

As for gameplay content, I'd love to have something like the skyrim faction systems, where you can have grouped quest lines around a single theme that are independent from the main quest.

The DA series needs an iconic smut book like "The Lusty Argonian Maid" or mock romance book like Deus Ex:HR's "Hearts of Steel".Shadowfang12 wrote...

A modding toolset. Seriously, Skyrim's modability is one of the main reasons it's so popular. Try to find a decent length discussion on the game without someone talking about its mods. It's pretty hard.

I did enjoy stumbling into those quests.

A Toolset (which I don't expect we'll see, but one can dream...).
Atmospheric environments - variety of weather (it can't be sunny *every* day) and things like rolling fog, misty woods, sunrises/sunsets, blizzards you can't see 30 feet in front of you, and so on.

I don't see the point of the hostility between fans of one of the games vs. the fans of the other. Dragon age can take a lot from Skyrim and still maintain its identity.
1) Details. Skyrim was rich with details. there were different types of butterflies fluttering around, for god sakes. Tables had stuff on them. Books were readable....page by page. Bioware could do this and DA3 would be awesome for it.
2)Interactive world. NPCs, even un-named generic nps, commented about what you were wearing, what you accomplished, what you have in your hand, your weapon specialization etc. This would only Help DA become a richer experience.
3) Level design. Skyrim had the most amazing dungeons of any game I've ever played. Bioware can emulate them, or better yet, they can improve upon them by making them even more stunningly gorgeous, more story-rich and non linear (because that was the lone flaw in Skyrim's dungeons: They were linear.)
4) Vast Exploration. Thedas is an intriguing place, Don't you think it's about time we friggin got to explore it properly?
The lore that the first two installments laid out practically begs for it.

Side quests of Skyrim caliber (Dark brotherhood, thieves guild were awesome)
Every dungeon/cave/fortress interior was different bethesda kept its promise, i hope for more variety in DA3 aswell, mind you i will be fine with if few of them copied.
Khajiit/Argonian, how about new beast oriented races?
