[Deputy Secretary of Awesome]

Both Dragon Age games had such great and rich characters that to me it would be very unfortunate to waste them. I would love to see the return of a good deal of characters from both Origins and DA2, some as major characters (and party members) and others even as cameos.

In particular, I would absolutely love to see Hawke return in a major fashion, even as a Party Member. All that would need to be done (if direct importing isn't available) is to allow for customising Hawke's appearance before the game begins. The same incidentally could be done for The Warden from Origins, and damn it would be awesome to have both of them appear in this next game.

Hawke (and the Warden) would then be voiced and act just like any other NPC. It would be even more impressive if the game carried over (or you get to choose) whether your Hawke had a "Honourable/Sarcastic/Aggressive" personality and have that vary in the dialogue and performances from the character. Understandably, that might take a lot of time and resources that aren't available though.

I know it's a long shot, but I had to put that out there.

Additionally, the entire cast of party members from Origins and DA2 would be most welcome. Especially Varric.

I am also excited to see what new characters emerge.

Even if it's just cameos, I think fans of both games would really appreciate an appearance from those two characters and the effort made to put them in. I certainly would.

I'm kind of in the camp of let old companions stay out of the new games unless they're central to a plot. However Shale and Sten would be nice to see again. I still don't know how I'll handle Morrigan being back possibly without my Warden .

Hmm I enjoyed alot of the characters from both games. I would be interested to see wether or not we run into our wardens or hawkes. (i know the idea was being tossed around) Should be fun..
Though I expect to see my warden with morrigan.......if its implemented in some way.....

I think every character can come back really..I don't really have a hate thing on Tallis so maybe on her. my top 6 I would like to see
1.Oghren/Varric (yes I think they are considered both #1 they'd be a great duo dwarf's)

I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about the return of the Epic Templar of Awesome otherwise known as Cullen.

Any character that survived my playthroughs in both games. Even so, by default, Morrigan. On another note I think "Inquisition" is a rather weak title, but if it gives me a chance to utilize Cullen as an investigative party member, I can cope.

I'd like to see Hawke again, too.

During the Dragon Age 3 teasers panel at NYCC last year there was a segment on customization and the sample party member used was Merrill. So it looks as if maybe in Inquisition we'll find out more about her mirror after all?

The only one who I absolutely have to see again in DA3 is Flemeth. Her presence helps tie the series together. To a large degree, she embodies the mystery, power, and tragedy that makes DA what it is.

I want to see Anders being separated from Justice. Maybe a short side-quest. Else, if they're still merged, no.
Morrigan and the god-baby resolution. Definitely yes.
Varric - wouldn't mind him. Very good character.
