After DA2 and ME3 original ending, this will be Bioware's third strike if this turns out to be a fan failure.
My trust in Bioware isn't what it used to be, but they have done a lot of good for their fans. If this game flops I may take my money somewhere else, but I'm going to give Bioware a chance with DA3.

All in all, I feel like DA3 is Bioware's last chance to prove to me that they are at least partially the same company that made Neverwinter Nights; the game I happened to pick up on an impulse one fateful afternoon which ended up literally changing my life. Bioware earned a special meaning for me with that game, and they've since only managed to recapture that "thing" about NWN twice (in KOTOR and DAO), so my disappointment in DA2 cut deep. DA3 feels to me like Bioware's last chance to prove they could do it again and heal the wound.

thats kind of what I am expecting with this game
who knows maybe they will pull it off, but I am expecting crappy PR and day 1 dlc, or dlc already on the disk

I personally don't care if they make quality game like DAO and want some extra cash. If they reuse maps constantly like Dragon Age 2 and release DLC from day 1, I would be very disappointed. Like, why would they expect more money for less work?FlamingBoy wrote...

Just out of curiosity, is it the same team making Dragon Age that made Mass effect?
No, there is a different team for DA, ME, and SWTOR, although its likely that writers and developers move between the teams from time to time. Drew Karpyshyn for example was the main writer for ME for a time and also wrote for SWTOR.
As for the OP's question, no I'm not going to wait for reviews. I enjoyed DA2 and ME3 immensely and continue to enjoy SWTOR.

IF 3 is any good, they stop ignoring the Origins DLC, & imports actually matter beyond some random encounters I'll get it.
Otherwise I will just forget about this series completely.

Lost my save files so I started replaying Origins, but then I remembered what a crap fest 2 was and I just lost interest.

Did they even fix the whole boons not importing and romance flags not importing bugs? If not, shows that not buying this game is one of my better choices.
