wait a month before release. all the good preorder stuff gets released then that way you can make an informed desicion. Then again gamestop is a safe bet. they get all the good preorder stuff especially from EA.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we will be able to pre-order when they actually give a release date. ;)

Its will be an even longer wait for those wanting a Collectors Edition. Not to derail the thread but I hope there is a proper CE this time around.

Normally stores take pre-orders very quickly after a games release date is officially announced. So only a couple more months probably (hopefully!)

Yeah, compared to other publishers EA doesn't seem to be very fond of shiny CE's.

Are you serious? After DA2 and ME3 no one should ever pre-order anything from Bioware. Let the game come out first. Let others spend their money to see if Bioware botched this game as badly as the others. Then, if they've not botched it up, spend you money - but do so via a vendor which allows for returns.

Some of us liked DA2 and ME3 and would like to pre-order DA3.

I know it's almost as if, they did like DA2 and ME3. This is completely unheard of. They must be a witch/warlock BURN THEM!

It's the BSN there is no such thing as a fair trial.

What do the various vendors say about preordering the game ? We've had this discussion on other threads. I would't preorder. Iam still not sure Bioware has had enough development time for DAI. Plus I am not sure they've learned all the necessary lessons from the mistakes that they made on DA2 . I feel disquieted that Bioware doesn't seem to give props to DAO , and learned from what they did right in that game. I'm starting to believe that Brent Knowles and possibly other employees who have left Bioware were largely responsible for the success of DAO and not so much the people who remained . Finally I don't like Bioware shifting away from a traditional rpg feel to more of an action rpg feel . So Bioware has to prove to me the game is worth purchasing.

Lol.....NO.

When will some of the people on these forums get it through their heads? A lot of people loved DA:O AND DA2. BioWare has not let me down with the DA games in any way! In fact, I think they have continued to evolve and improve the franchise. No game is perfect, and anyone who has such expectations is going to be disappointed.

I can't understand the continued hate toward DA2 and the fans that like the games BioWare makes. I can't wait to pre-order DA:I, because I have every confidence that the Dragon Age team is going to make another awesome game, and I can't wait to experience it.

My only difficulty is in trying to understand why people who only criticise and find fault with BioWare games continue to waste their time on these boards talking about games they dislike, and future titles that they also expect to hate.

You really can't?

I don't hate the game (not even close, the DLCs are very good) but it'd be pretty naieve and dishonest of me to shake my hands up at the sky and pretend to be dumbfounded as to why a large portion of the fanbase hates DA2. Everyone knows damn well why. A huge drop in quality most likely due to a very short development cycle. The stylistic changes has very little to do with the hate DA2 gets.

And once again I hear this "If u dun like da game, y r u here???". Because, despite what some people think and/or hope, the BSN is (not yet anyway) not a place to come and kneel before Bioware devs and kiss their feet, all the while telling them how unworthy we are while doing it. Some people like all Bioware products, some people like none of them, some people claim that recent Bioware products have shown a sharp drop in quality, and I was under the impression that all are welcome here; until or unless they attack another member or mod, say racist things, troll etc.

If want a circle-jerk of nothing but Bioware praise or one of nothing but people complaining, start your own forum. Until then, however, it's good this forum has both...and everything in between.
