It isn't that you're not allowed to be here if you don't like Bioware, but why would you be in this specific thread responding to a person obviously excited for the new game and wanting to pre-order it, just to spout nonsense about how they shouldn't?

I'm hoping for a pre-order soon, since they have a general timeframe for release now. I can't wait. Maybe a collector's edition too...

wait a month before release. all the good preorder stuff gets released then that way you can make an informed desicion. Then again gamestop is a safe bet. they get all the good preorder stuff especially from EA.

With DAII, if you pre-ordered early, you got a free upgrade to the CE.

Why? I've enjoyed every BioWare RPG after BG 1. There's no indication that DA:I isn't as good as the other games I've played.

If you don't want to pre-order from Bioware, that's fine, but why on Earth would you tell other people not to?

As soon as I can. I would think it'd be sometime next summer. Games I think I won't like I watch Youtube videos and sometimes it helps. I love this series and it hasn't turned me away. I bought the the CE of DA:2 with the guide ( hard back) and I plan to do the same if there is an option, more importantly, the funds. I'm also saving up for the next novel as well (pre-ordering that if I can).

Because pre-ordering is bad and you should feel bad

I'm probably going to preorder and here's why: I like the franchise. I'll get a pretty fair amount of gameplay in for less than it would cost to sit at the movies for that many hours.

Some people are waiting to order based on the reviews. Just think - it is people like me who are going to be talking about it. I have my own opinion and it may or may not agree with anyone else's. That doesn't mean I'm right or wrong or anything else. Waiting to see what "everybody else thinks" might work for some people but I'm going to be forming my own opinion regardless and may as well take advantage of any D1DLC deals on offer.

This is a good question. I had to use a bunch of Amazon credit on another pre-order simply because I couldn't pre-order this game. My credit was about to expire so it needed to go on something. :crying:

Have you tried getting Origins on Steam?  You can get the Ultimate Edition (which has all of the DLCs and goodies for your companions) for a fairly cheap deal.  Just wait for it to go on sale on Steam.

Beware: At least for the Steam version, there is a memory leak.  Just save often.  If your game starts acting slow and crunchy, save and exit.  Then you can restart.:wizard:

I don't like to Pre-order, at least in full. I generally just go to the game shop and put the minimum balance down and grab the game when there's some feedback on it. I miss out on CE's but who cares? Well... Aside from that Skyrim CE with the Alduin statue and (Much more importantly) the massive art book. If Dragon Age: Inquisition had similarly sized art book in one of their CE's, I might be inclined to gamble on the pre order. (Hint Hint)

Does level design mean nothing to you? That question was directed to all the Dragon Age 2 lovers.

I do love DA2, but I'm more than content to wait until we have a polished product.  Hopefully one that won't cause game-breaking bugs with offical DLC.  I'm looking at you, Legacy.  Yes, the Repentance quest is going to remain broken if you have that DLC.

Are you serious? After DA2 and ME3 no one should ever pre-order anything from Bioware. Let the game come out first. Let others spend their money to see if Bioware botched this game as badly as the others. Then, if they've not botched it up, spend you money - but do so via a vendor which allows for returns.

Some of us liked DA2 and ME3 and would like to pre-order DA3.

Lol.....NO.

When will some of the people on these forums get it through their heads? A lot of people loved DA:O AND DA2. BioWare has not let me down with the DA games in any way! In fact, I think they have continued to evolve and improve the franchise. No game is perfect, and anyone who has such expectations is going to be disappointed.

I can't understand the continued hate toward DA2 and the fans that like the games BioWare makes. I can't wait to pre-order DA:I, because I have every confidence that the Dragon Age team is going to make another awesome game, and I can't wait to experience it.

My only difficulty is in trying to understand why people who only criticise and find fault with BioWare games continue to waste their time on these boards talking about games they dislike, and future titles that they also expect to hate.
