DA3 better have:

- a good story
- decent characters
- zoomed-out view for the PC with no "A" button mashing
- no lame faux-Shepard "hero"

Basically Bioware needs to throw the DA2 "innovations" into the dustbin of bad game design, and go back to KOTOR/DA:O gameplay if they want to produce their first decent game in years.

No. This is the DA3 forum. Not DA2. So lockage incoming.

I agree with OP too btw :wizard:

I for one would prefer this dark fantasy series to continue to have plots with, I don't know, dark fantasy elements, rather than DA:Os always a better option.

I would like to post in this thread before it gets locked for being negative and talking about DA2.

Rose coloured glasses! Yay! Always such fun...

DA2 was good, not great, but not as horrible as people love to harp on about.

DAO was also not as fantastiwonderfulicious as people like to claim.

My opinion.

Carry on with the grousing.

I didn't have a problem with DA2. It didn't live up to expectations I had after DA:O but it wasn't a bad game. The time jumps did ****** me off though.

I actually really enjoyed DA2. In fact, DA2 is what kept me interested in the DA franchise.

Not very articulate and a bad title. I'm sure this thread will grab Bioware's attention for sure. /sarcasm

DA2 is like Superman. Pretty much the most hated in their respective genres.

dragon age 3 does need to feel more like the first game and not be so dumbed down

Believe it or not Aquaman was actually worst.

I hope they keep the rivalry system from DA2, that was probably the best innovation.

Hate is such a strong word. Can't we just go with dislike. They disliked DA2 enough to create a thead in a forum specifically created to talk about a different game telling everyone how much they disliked it. Sounds tamer, see?

That is why I said "pretty much" and not just "the". Also, Namor is worse than Aquaman.

Asides from the reuse maps and lack of choices, it was an okay game. It's not up to Bioware's usual standard, but it's better than a lot of games they churn out nowadays.
