That was one thing that made me like Anders' romance so much (although I still prefer Fenris). It felt like he was made for the m/m romance and they made him f/m to add choice to the players, unlike the other ones.

I like that Anders has more extra lines if Hawke was the one who romance him. Hawke's uncle was awesome when hinting that Anders is the girl in the relationship.

Although in Awakening, Anders is only talked about girl, I do agree that they make him more gay than straight in DA2. It gives a fresher view to a bi LI. I believe most bi options were written with female PC in mind like Kaidan, despite that, I still like the M/M with Kaidan better than Cortez.

Just a note, bisexual people often do have a preference; it's not always an equal 50/50. The preference doesn't make them any less bisexual, however.

Except most of the time it's always towards the female gender.  Do you think Bioware would have the cajones for a male LI to say to the female PC "I generally prefer other men, but I'm interested in you?"

He wasn't, it's the other way around.  Hence why Hawke suddenly has super-feminine body language when Andres leads him to the bed.

I'm glad it wasn't constantly mentioned. It was sorta ruin Cortez for me the way he keeps talking about his dead husband. Besides, it was 3 years between each act, you can't expect him to keep talking about him, especially if he's currently interested in someone else.

I feel weird when Cortez feel in love to MaleShep too easy. because his husband just dead for a few month (or year). For me, If I lost someone I love enough to call him husband, a year it not enough to move on with another guy.

And for Kaidan, He's my favorite. but I just curious why Kaidan's special dialogue for MaleShep appear only when we play MaleShep without import save.

I know. I wish we had a special dialogue like Femshep. I like the way Kaidan puts Femshep's hand on his face. We just don't have it. It's so unfair for those who have been waiting for him since ME1. New Import has Kaidan acknowledge him as a guy instead of generic dialogue for both. It feels like the game is just throwing a bone. I'm happy that Kaidan is available, but the amount of attention between Maleshep and Femshep with Kaidan romance is quite noticeable. Mass Effect team is getting more open-minded regarding S/S romance, but I still wish they would have paid equal attention to all their audience, and not just the straight males.

I couldn't do it either. Also, his voice actor is great, and the emotion in his voice when he talks about Robert  My Shepard is a good guy; he is not going to hit on someone who's obviously grieving like that. Yes even when you meet up with him at the club, and he's "moved on" ... has he really? It's not like years have passed like in DA2.

EDIT: Plus I want to add, even though I didn't play ME 1&2, I could tell that Shepard and Kaiden had a long history together, and so I just found that relationship more romantic....

Also, FYI, Fenris was the character written for a male Hawke (so the story goes), not Anders. But does it matter really? Both Anders and Fenris are great romances, great characters, and work well with both gender Hawke's. Same for Merrill and Isabela. DA2 definitely got it right as far as romance and gender are concerned!!!

You get that S/S fans had been bombarded with those conversations for years in various games? The options are there for those who want it, you don't necessarily need to click on it. If you pass over a few conversation with them, those heart icons would not appear anymore.

Pretty sure, Cullen is already one of the LIs. Greg Ellis confirmed to be voicing so early in the development. He could the butch sensitive mage. Haven't decided on the mage yet. I kinda hope we don't have another angst mage like Anders. It was a bit overwhelming romancing him.

I never romanced Anders for that reason. That and Fenris was just too irresistable.  I want another elf again. Maybe an elf mage? I don't care about the stereotype that elves are gay/bi. Hopefully Cullen has calmed down about mages, I might just romance him then!

I just never found elves to be attractive, I guess plain human is enough for me. lol. That is why I romanced Anders during a lot of my playthrough. Plus, Fenris is just too much of a jerk for my taste, nothing against those who romanced him though. Cullen is a man of principle, he's much harsher to those who take a neutral stand than those who have a viewpoint. I happen to agree with them. Anyway, he doesn't always think mages as evil, he had a crush on Amell and he even defended some mages in Kirkwall if you side with the templars.

Well if Cullen's a LI I will probably play a mage. So that means for my non-mage playthroughs, a mage LI would be nice....
