Well, if regular people can have muscles then why can't mages. If not for health then for aesthetic reasons. Just because you can kill people with your thoughts don't mean you can't pull some muscles every now and then.

Of course. The crucial word is some muscles. It takes a lot of exercise to grow them, especially in a quasi-medieval setting. As I said, Hawke (or another apostate) can be explained, but gaining his body would be next to impossible spending most of your life in what's essentially a monastery.

You might be surprised how hard a lot of medieval monks worked.    But I will certainly grant you that the Circle didn't look like it afforded much opportunity for exercise for the mages!

I just realize that we haven't had an "evil" male LI before. Anders is crazy, he's technically not evil. I want someone who doesn't care if you live or die and doesn't afraid to say it. We had Morrigan in DAO. I would make an interesting romance if we can romance an evil apostate moreso if he's tied in to the storyline.

Morrigan wasn't evil. I guess the closest she would be is amoral. She was raised to be self-sufficient and not pity those who can't help themselves.

I would say Fenris was pretty callous about who lived or died. He was happy to torture people if it helped get information out of them.

Zevran was an assassin. Tell him to kill someone, and he'd do it. That's hardly a traditionally stable moral compass lol

I guess a better word would be apathy. Something that will go along well with an evil PC. When you look at it, realistically, Fenris, Anders, Merill, and Isabela wouldn't follow Hawke if he/she truly evil. I kinda want a LI who approves of evil actions like Morrigan, You usually get approval points from Morrigan while performing evil actions.

Personally, i don't want evil LI. My main PC romance him because he's human and look good more than Fenris but when I realize he's destroy Chantry. I can't accept this, but I can't let him die too. then in second and third play I aleays choose Fenris and kill Ander. (I think I will come back to play My first again and choos Fenris instead Ander before DAIII release)

If We have Evil LI in DAIII,At least I want to get option for PC to convince him to Light Side If We romance him (and yes, More Evil If PC is Evil too.)

Eh. We never really had an "evil" companion to begin with. Morrigan is as selfish as one can be, but she never really goes out of her way just to see people suffer.

She did advocate to kill all the mages in the circle. If you agree with Morrigan, Wynne would try to kill you. I kinda want a selfish, "bad" character. Morrigan is a very interesting character because she is so polar oppsite with the rest of the Warden's companions. The world could be burning and Morrigan would not care. Anders is not an evil character, he's just very opinionated and willing to die for his actions, but he does it out of love for mages, he doesn't blow up the chantry because he's evil.

I do agree that killing everybody in the Circle is pretty messed up - if you do it because of her reasons, anyway, since your Warden can very well have noble motivations -, but it's less Morrigan waking up every morning wondering how she will kill babies and more about how her head is tuned to a certain way of thinking that can be cruel to an average person.

That said, I'm not really against a character that doesn't care if the PC is an "evil" person, as long as their reason to do so is something other than "mwhahaha, I love blood, humans are worthless".

Here's a few ideas I'd like to see (preferably two separate available options if possible):

-Human Rogue, preferably Antivan or Rivaini. Dark brown skin, dark hair, and eyes of gold or brown (a nice little counter to your standard fair-haired male romances in DA so far). He's cunning and tricky but not necessarily evil or selfish. More of a survivalist, someone you have to peel layers off of to see the soft side of him. Break away the stereotypes of rogues (and Antivans/Rivaini since we already have amoral Isabela/Zevran). Would be nice to see someone go against the stereotypes for a change. I could see him using either weapon style (dual wielding or bow).

-Human Warrior, let Bioware's standard beauty trope of red hair/green eyes be conferred onto a male counterpart (and if not...dark hair and blue eyes, Bioware's secondary common trope, will do). For him I'd like to see that sociopathic Bishop nature. Out for himself. Knows how to be a real jerk. And quite frankly, enjoys his time with you but just as willing to leave you out in the cold on a moment's notice. Definitely wields two handed weapons (just why would he be a protective shield when he'd rather slaughter?). The kind of romance that constantly keeps you on edge, leaves you wanting more, yet you know you'll never bring him home or tie him down.

-Human Chevalier (warrior) with golden or brown hair and eyes of sapphire or emerald. I suggested this for a female romance but I wouldn't mind a male counterpart either. Heroic Orlesian sword and board who embodies the archetypal knight in shining armor. Not whiny or witty although he can be absent minded, very black and white view of the world but poetic. Sort of a classic trope but lovable with an attractive accent.

-Elf Mage, open to various hair and eye colors (leaning towards Silver or Black with eyes of Green or Gray like stormclouds). Either an arcane warrior (if they bring it back) or a keeper of ancient, forgotten lore of magic...for the Circle. He would study Dalish magics in secret due to being brought in from his tribe, but ultimately be supportive of the Circle (sort of like Wynne/Bethany) due to the horrors wrought by mages. More meek and timid, not used to dealing with other people being such a bookworm.

I know a few people will want my head for this, but I've been deadly afraid of knights in shining armor since I shot a couple of magic missiles in Anomen's face.

But then, Keldorn is my husband 5life :P

I'm pretty sure the human warrior role will be filled by Cullen. The fans have demanded him for years. Greg Ellis was in the studio recording for Cullen pretty early on, so there's a high chance that one of the male LI would be Cullen. I suppose since the third game is about mages vs templars, I have a feeling that the second LI would be a mage. While I'm not a fan of elves, I would love to have an elven mage, maybe not as a LI but as a companion, I think it would be interesting if he has any conflict between being an elf and fighting among the human mages. He would likely be seen as an outsider by both the mages and the templars, at least, in my canon storyline. I am hoping for 2 humans this time. We likely only have 2 LIs, so I don't mind a rogue, as long as he's not ****ty like Zevran or Isabela. Rogue being promiscuous seems to be a common tropes in a lot of video games.

I agree, but it was a bit stereotypical that the rogue class is the one being promiscuous.

I have been waiting for a knight in shining armor for a long time for my mage. It's my favorite romantic archetype of romance. Alistair would fit that role, but he's straight, so I couldn't romance him. I could use the mods, but I kinda want to stab him everytime he calls me a lady. Fenris is a warrior, but he's not a knight. Cullen seems to fit that description the best, so Cullen will be the one who will shield and protect my mage while I mow down the enemies with a firestorm. :P

You are aware that "cunning and tricky but not necessarily evil or selfish" and "more of a survivalist, someone you have to peel layers off of to see the soft side of him" is basically Zevran, I hope.

Honestly, you can make any kind of character homosexual because anyone can be homossexual or bissexual. I think the stereotypes people put here kinda funny. Knight, mage, thief - anyone can have attraction for the same sex and don´t have moral vices, or have the same ones as straights. Why only homossexual characters have to have character flaws? I mean, Zevran being vulgar and promiscuous for example is a stereotype. Very disguised, but it is.

I feel like Lelianna and Zevran's flaw kinda tie a bit to them being bisexual. The common stereotype is bisexuals are very promiscuous.

Leliana wasn't really promiscous. I mean, she seduced people as part of her job, but I wouldn't say she was promiscous in the sense of Isabela and Zevran. Honestly, Morrigan and Awakening-Anders were both more promiscuous than Leliana, and were both straight at the time. Anders actually stopped being promscuous when he became a bi option. It would be nice to put the stereotype aside for the next game though.

I'm going to agree with those that would like a more ruthless, pragmatic male LI with a darker morality. Bioware seems to enjoy the pattern of giving a female LI of that type and a sensitive moral male LI (Morrigan/Alistair, Ashley/Kaidan, Miranda/Jacob).  DA2 was unusual there in that none of them seemed especially 'good' or 'evil'. Very much grey. Zevran might have had a dark morality in comparison to Alistair/Leliana, but he didn't seem to approve of random cruelty in the same way as Morrigan - he disapproves of taunting the Dalish guy about his werewolf wife, letting the desire demon possess Amalia, killing elves in any way, and even voices an opinion against killing the Circle mages. Usually he just doesn't care when it comes to amoral things, whereas Morrigan actively supports them. A male LI like that, but with fewer Stupid Evil tendencies would be a marvellous change.

It would be a plus if he goes around making sarcastic comments. My PC would probably confuse whether or not he should kiss him or punch him.
