Will you guys let Dragon Age III be spoiled?

I was one of the people that hung out on the Dragon age II forums and there was a MAJOR spoiler thread that told you who died who lived and at what times. (Before Dragon Age II was even released.) The Moderators let it slide and I have no idea why.
Will you guys delete threads that spoil stuff this time?

If Moderators "let it slide," it may be because we were not aware of it or what was being discussed in the thread. To ensure that the non-spoiler forums remain spoiler-free, please send a PM to a Moderator (or several Moderators) with a link to the offending thread, and it will be dealt with.

Thanks.

I remember a mod posting on the thread claiming "If you guys read it it's your own fault so I'm gonna leave it up."
But okay.

I had the Asunder book spoiled for me in one of the DA2 threads. Got told it wasn`t a DA2 spoiler, so it was ok.

Well, the mod was correct in his assessment, imo.

My argument was that people have no self control, and that they should take it down just for the sake of anymore people getting it spoiled for them. But I was stupid back then so yeah.

I want to keep myself spoiler free this time around but when they time comes near I succumb to temptation. A la ME3.

I spoiled myself because I wanted to see if the Warden would return or not.
Then he didn't.

I'd like to keep myself spoiler free. Some games and movies I like to spoil myself, but probably not this time.

After ME3, i'm going to spoil myself. I doubt Bioware would do anything that would cause a repeat of the ME3 disaster, especially since this is a different team, but it's better safe than sorry. I don't wanna spend $60 and get pissed off all over again. This is if the game look good enough for me to want to buy it new.

So far DA3 is sitting at the buy it used or on sale category for me. But that can always be subject to change.

No way. I made that mistake with DA2 and I regretted it ever since.

I'm in the same place as you. This time I'm going to look for spoilers on the ending to make sure that it has a good ending, to make sure it is even worth buying.

We try to keep spoilers out of forums marked, no spoilers allowed.

If this thread was in the Spoilers section, then there's not much we can do about that.

Keeping myself spoiler free this time even if it kills me. Not watching trailers, not reading the forums (...after the real announcement), not visiting DA related sites - it's going to be a slow and agonizing wait for DA3.

Unfortunately, no one can cater to an individual user's specific tolerances or preferences. There is just no way for a stranger or Moderator to know whether you would have enjoyed ME3's ending.

I disagree. If all of the Moderators agreed that the Mass Effect 3 ending was good, then I guess you guys could've expected positive feedback. But I doubt even half agreed that the ending left them satisfied.

Some people don't want to learn anything about their future games, I can respect that.
I do need to know everything about it, am the one who is going to pay for it, if I know little to nothing then I deserve whatever comes after playing it.

I want to have the option to buy a game knowing it has flaws as buying in and finding out it wasn't worthy of a penny.

Man if I see any sort of spoilers before I get the game, I leave the forums.
I hate having my story ruined.

Happened to me with every single Bioware game because I get too curious.
Sometimes I hate the internet.

After Mass Effect 3 ending... A bit of spoiling might have done my bank account a favour.

I'm only going to check back for the release date. I don't want any hint on anything, because even the small "OMG GUYS YOUR FROM LOTHERING AND _ _ _ _ _ " spoilers irriatated me when DA2 was announced. I expected something completely different from DA2, which I was slightly unhappy with at first and then grew to accept, and I'm going to just expect nothing and play the game when it comes out. That being said, dearest DA forum members, I am pumped. Fairwell for a bit.^_^

Also, even if the mods crack down on spoilers, I wouldn't risk it OP. I guess that was my original point.

Mainly I just want to know if Cullen's a companion/LI and what our protagonists name will be (aside from Inquisitor), but knowing me I'd probably end up reading every spoiler available lol.

Woah!  You are on the boards a week before release and you don't if Cullen is a companion/LI or the Inquisitor name(s)?  That's impressive!
