Multiplayer will be a big factor: if featured, I won't preoder and only buy it later on at a discounted price. Maybe.

I want to see if this is going to look more like DA2 or DAO before I decide. I preordered DAO, but thankfully didn't with DA2. There enough hints prior to release that DA2 was going to be disappointing. In retrospect I'm glad I waited.

Unless the game is developed for next-gen consoles. Then I'll have to starve for a month and then buy both console and game. Or I'd just pre-order the game and buy the console a month later.
Eh, point is: I have faith in Bioware. They haven't made a bad game yet, IMO.

There used to be time when you would buy anything Bioware put out because of their reputation. I stay clear of Bioware games now.

After every new big piece of information about the game we get I plan on creating a new poll to see if people changed their minds.marshalleck wrote...
Administer this poll in a year and the result will be landslide "yes"
Kinda like that Modern Warfare 2 Boycott steam group that showed a good 80-90% of its members in-game with Modern Warfare 2 on release day.

People are fickle. I don't mean to insult any of you in this thread but i'm pretty certain that a lot of you who have said absolutely no, will end up pre-ordering it.

Yeah that's true. Just like some pwople who said yes may not pre-order it. This is just meant to give a general idea. Minds change over time.Welsh Inferno wrote...

Also depends on the pre-order benifits, if i see any bullcrap about collecters edition only DLC then you can keep your game and use it as a supository bioware; half the reason i didn't bother with ME3 was cause of that crap

I want to see trailers and learn a bit more about the game first, if I like what I see I'll pre-order if not I wont!

I never liked the idea of preordering anything.
^ This. I often buy games on the release day, but I think I've only ever preordered two games in total - and those were both because the bonuses seemed like things I might want to buy later so I thought it made sense for that reason, not because I thought they looked like the best games ever or because all those other games looked inferior.
Without the promise of a useful set of extras, I don't see the point of pre-ordering at all. No comment on the quality of the basic game (or "trust" in the production team) is implied by that.
