Waiting on friends' thoughts of the game Post-Release. I'm not in a rush to get the game for the moment. I'd need more information on the game before pulling out the wallet.

I am one the few i know (on the internet anyways, in the physical world everyone i know who played it likes 2 better) who liked 2 better than 1. So that's one reason to do so. I'm also a sucker for pre-order DLC bonuses (yay free mechcromancer, creature slaughter dome and weapons for me in borderlands 2), so reason number two. Believe it or not I think bioware was burned so badly by ME2 and DA2 that they will use every trick they no to make sure this game is not a failure. Honestly I think if ME3s ending was good, you could worry more for DA3, but after a failing MMO, and to games worth of backlash they gotta be listening and bringing their A game to this one.
Also Dragon age is awesome

Not unless there's some sort of worthwhile incentive to do so.

too early to say it for sure. I think it will all depend on what BioWare would offer for preorder

Just please don't make me lose out on actual content this time for not pre-ordering soon enough. I paid just as much as those who got the signature edition, but would have had to pay for that Sebastian content.
Pre-ordering bonuses should be an item or 2. Maybe some armor.
I'm going to wait and see this time. I got into DA late. Family kinda limited my video gaming time. A friend lent me a copy of Origins last January, and I had to pick up the ultimate edition to get it all. Then I pre-ordered 2. Then I played the demo, and regretted it. I got by thinking it was like Final Fight in Thedas. It was great for a Final Fight game, but it wasn't what I wanted. So this time around, I will see.
Oh, and for those of us that are hard of hearing, PLEASE make the subtitles bigger. Not all of us need HDTV's. My old 29 inch flat screen works just fine. In fact, that was the TV I bought when I actually needed to start reading things on my PS2/XBox games. A choice between HD and SD (and off of course) subtitles can't possibly be the hardest, most expensive thing to implement. I'm just glad my vision isn't going yet, but it is probably next. If we don't get decent sized subtitles this time around, I GUARANTEE I'm not buying it any time soon after it's release, no matter how good it might be.
Sorry, tangent there.

As for me, I'd like to learn more, and see where my budget stands when a release date is announced.
I can say I won't preorder it, take one look at a trailer and get excited, go and preorder it at the local Gamestop without thinking, then bang my head on the wall that night, and proceed to comfort myself by ordering a pizza and watching either Clue or The Princess Bride.

Na na na not after that same dungeon got recycled like 8 times in DA 2

Nay.
They got a blind buy from me with DA2. Not anymore.
It is said that the man is the only animal that trips twice over the same stone.
Not me. Not with this game. I'm interested, but wary. I won't be buying it unless it impresses me.

I don't know, will I get any unbalanced weapons or armor as a preorder bonus? I'm not pre-ordering unless they offer unbalanced equipment.

Day 1 DLC for free? If there's only an unbalanced sword then....suntzuxi wrote...

Depends, but if it's 100% confirmed to have a multiplayer-mode, then no.

Now see this makes no sense to me... What if they make it worse than DA2 and its a corridor shooter more boring than any game ever made? Nope nope pre-order no matter what.
This is why Bioware and other companies can get away with half assing it... You're gonna buy it no matter what.
