I will, unless it is a next gen exclusive. Then I would have to "considering" actually buying one when it comes out. Though DA3 is about the only game that could actually motivate me to do it.
Same here, I usually wait a year or two to get the next gen console. I wait untill a drop in price and the bugs the first factory line consoles have been fixed. If it is on PS3 I will pre-order, I always enjoy Bioware games- I like their dialogue, storylines, and characters- even if I am disapointed in some aspects, ex. enviroments. I also like the fact we can choose our sex. I enjoy playing a game that the protaganist isn't a fixed male character like many RPG's.

It will, in fact, be the first BioWare game that I will end up purchasing that I didn't pre-order a Collector's Edition for since Baldur's Gate 2.

I'm undecided. I pre-ordered ME3 and I feel I got burned on it so I will wait and see some reviews before I even decide to buy it new let alone pre-order it. I've seen some mention that DA is being made by a different team but it's still Bioware making it and, whether they like it or not, the reaction to the ME3 ending will have an impact on how many will pick this game up at first. How well the game is reviewed from beginning to end will go a long way towards helping me decide.
very true

not sure i always pre ordered before but that bioware name that use to mean fun quality games does not seem to hold up right now
even after dragon age 2 i would have pre ordered but mass effect 3s ending is beyond bad even with ec so it would be hard to just buy it

So, with the longer dev cycle for DA 3, I'm totally on board, especially since the main reason I hated DA: 2 was its brevity (squashing all those years into a 14 hour game), and the most blatant and poorly executed job of recycled assets ever in the history of AAA gaming. The second, will hopefully not be an issue with a longer dev cycle, as for the first...well, we'll see. I still enjoyed DA 2's story-what little we got, so even if DA 3 ends up being a bite-sized morsel that tries to tell too much story in too little time, I'll be fine with it (and, again, the longer dev cycle should hopefully help with that issue as well).
Actual combat, mechanics, etc, I never had a problem with those things, and felt they were-by far-the most superficial and overblown complaints towards DA 2.
Sure, I could do with less of the everyone is bisexual social issues parade that Bioware has taken upon itself to shove down everyone's throats, but I can live with that if DA 3 continues that trend because they can't seperate politics from entertainment. Life goes on.
