After pre-ordering DA2 I'll need to see gameplay first to see if there's an improvement.

I'll wait and see, certainly won't preorder the day it's announced like the last times.

I liked DA2, despite all its flaws, and I would gladly support the DA team again, but Multiplayer is killing my excitement for DA3.

I love the Dragon Age Universe. I enjoyed DA:O and all of it's DLC, and I go just as much enjoyment from DA2. Personally I'm counting down the days until I can pre-order. So mark me down in the pre-order camp.

If there's a possibility to return the product, then maybe. Depends on what they'll make out of it.

I'd also like to see a demo. DA2's demo was good - it showed exactly what was in final product in terms of direction.

Like DA2, it will be a Gamefly rental for Xbox (whatever generation) at first. If the game is enjoyable, I'll purchase a PC copy. Considering my.....disappointment with recent Bioware titles, I cannot imagine the circumstances that would compel me to pre-order without checking it out first.

I'll say one thing about Awakenings: it made more a more cautious,m wiser consumer.

I usually preorder games I am interested in just because I have the funds at that time. Whenever I wait I end up not getting it until after spoilers are all over the internet.

Probably not. I nearly preordered mass effect 3 and i'm glad i didn't.
I need to see the game and its ending first.
Not kidding, i'm just paranoid.

Based on what little I know about DA3's direction, yes I absolutely would.

Having the PC version be Origin-only would be a major deterrent, though.

No. DA2 purged the urge to pre order games out of my system.

NO. DA2 was too big disappointment.

In fact, I'm not sure I will buy it at all. If there is again a preset character, for example,or if they bring back characters and LIs from either DAO or DA2 but ignoring my decisions again, I won't buy it.

But if they keep their promise to bring back some good things from DAO, I might change my mind and preorder it.

Who cares if it's multiplayer??? I mean seriously, if they wanted it to be COMPLETELY multiplayer, they would just turn it in to a MMORPG. They wouldn't  be giving us the option to use the multiplayer in the first place. If you don't like the multiplayer feature, there is a real easy solution. Just don't play on multiplayer. Easy enough. Sheesh.  >_<

Yes. I will preorder it as soon as any possible collectors editions are announced. I want the best version of this game.

At this time, there is nothing that supports a decision to pre-order.
Also the inclusion of MP in DA3, weakens any chances for a future pre-order.

Most likely. I'm a sucker for collector's editions even though whatever comes with it migth not be worth it.

The item I still use that came in a CE is the good and evil coin from Fable 3. I use it when I can't decide on a good or evil decision so I just flip my coin haha. So hopefully DA3 will have something cool.

You're right of course :D.
It's not like the multiplayer will be better than the singleplayer... Oh wait!!!
