Yeah, same here. Really...who cares if there's a perfectly good mech..er, attack...dog hanging around the camp and well, nothing else. It's not a reason to pre-order.

I'll wait for fan reviews, not paid for suckup reviews from IGN, but real gamer reviews before I make a decision to buy it. Even then it'll probably be a used copy.

If it has an option to play my Warden again, then definitely. If Morrigan will play an integral part of the game then it's a big "maybe". If neither, then I probably will wait until it becomes a bargin bin.

I am totally going to pre-order, no matter what. However, I am really hoping for a nice, old-fashioned, tin-encased Collector's Edition. Much like the DA:O/TW2 ones, filled with additional "physical" content that explains and deepens the game's world, without getting you in the fire-line of the "Day 1 DLCS" critics

bulls*it multiplayer co-op that nobody asked for/wanted will suck up a large chunk of their development resources & focus = another crap game... (& dont give me that differnt team Bull)

Wasn't going to give you the different team "bull" so what if some ( I say some because there might actually be some people who might like the multiplayer option ) and how do you KNOW it's going to be "crap"? Do you work there? Are you helping develope the game? Didn't think so. Don't base how a game is going to be, just because you think that da2 was "crap" I mean for all you know DA3 will blow your f*cking mind ( in a good way mind you. ) just like they say don't judge a book by its cover, don't judge DA3 by DA2

You're right of course .
It's not like the multiplayer will be better than the singleplayer... Oh wait!!!

And that doesn't give you pause at all?  No one wanted in ME3 but now its the only good thing most people like about it.... Because the singleplayer was so terrible....  You see I was being sarcastic and thought I was pretty obvious with it

Well far be it from me to ruin it for you.. But after ME3 and DA2 (both terrible IMO) I just can't find the enthusiasm that you do.

If I see the game going in a direction which gets my juices going then fair enough, but that direction would have to erase most bad memories about DA:2 (of which I have plenty) and also re-assure me that DA:3 was DA:O based.

been down this road before. Most people said not to judge ME3 based on DA2,
with a different development team excuse…. well, we know how that worked out.
The signs are there and have been there for some time that BW is not the company
they once were. EA IS KILLING THEM.  I am
sure they will do their best given their available talent , resources & ea
mandate ... sadly, IMO it WILL be a flop. My apologies if I don’t share
your “faith” in BW but I think it is misplaced. It’s cool, you are entitled to point
of view of course.

Then, by all means, if you enjoy MP ..great but I do feel it compromises
the SP experience like ME3. EA believe that games must have MP to make money
and that’s where they put their focus. Nothing wrong with making a profit but look
at EA’s track record of ruing franchises, then tell me if you still feel
optimistic.

First i need to see and hear more about it but after DA2 and ME3 i'm very, VERY cautious with Bioware games. Pre-ordering isn't something i can really consider right now

yes they could have done drastic things to improve ME3 and not been as lazy on DA2, but i can't help but be excited and wonder what kinds of things they are going to put in DA3. It probably won't be as good as Origins, but is anything ever as good as the orginal? *careless shrugs* I'm just happy to have a game i like continuing. It gives me something to look forward to. I know it will be a good game. A great game? maybe. We shall see though. Either way it gives people something to talk and discuss over. Personally I hope there is more to follow after DA3.

you make a good case i'll give you that. True that multiplayer could indeed ruin the SP experiance of the game, I won't discount that fact. But, and I say but, even if it IS there, do you HAVE to use the MP? and while most people might have said not to judge ME3 by DA2, they forgot that ME is NOT DA. total difference. and it might not be a flop, we can't be sure. I can tell you I am new to the BW franchise, their only games I have played are the DA franchise and the ME franchise, and i just recently started understanding all this. But one thing I do know, is 1; ME is NOT DA and 2; why give up on something you enjoy? True, things might have taken a turn downhill, but who is to say things will not get better? *shrugs* again that's just my opinon on things. If you can't be optimistic, i'll just have to be optimistic for you and every other person out there who are not. and if you don't like the game, I'll enjoy the game for you and every other person who doesn't like it as well

The only games I have ever preordered in my entire life are both the DA titles. But after DA2's disappointment, can't say I will do the same for the 3rd installment.

Pre-order? The way it's looking right now, yes. The more seriously they take reworking and improving the franchise, the more committed they are to what I consider the core elements of Dragon Age, the more likely I'll pre-order, buy dlc, etc.

On the other hand... multiplayer would hurt those chances. Multiplayer would move combat in a way I don't like, and potentially take away from other elements that are far more important to me. DA's not a shooter, and shouldn't be a real action RPG. The closer it is in gameplay to DA:O, KoTOR, the better. Improve and expand on that, but don't abandon that direction.
