I love Dragon age, I think its awesome
However ...
I'm not touching this game on release day based on ANYTHING any of the devs or ANYONE involved with DA3 says. I don't give a flying **** if Jesus, Vishnu, Buddha and God all come down on Flash gordon rebel airbikes to the tune of Darth Vaders theme song to tell me how good it is. I will patiently wait until it is out, do some research on it, then decide.

I might buy the CE, its gonna have to do alot better than the ME3 CE a cyber dog we can't interact with really, gee!
I also won't buy the game if I find out 2 people who use Artistic Integrity behind a closed door to create the ending and alienate the rest of the developing team from their idea's.
I didn't mind DA2 I enjoyed the game immensly an I realize you can't do much changes from a city scape with dungeons and didn't mind that they didn't change much. Be hard to walk into a Steal mill an expect it to change everytime you walk into it. An its view on the war!
Though whoever designed Tuchanka in ME3 can help out on DA3 that was my favorite part of ME3.
Bioware is gonna have alot of redemtion to get by with DA3 or the fans will have an Inquisition of it's own with Bioware as the prey!

DA:O is one of my all time favourite games, the let down after DA2 was crushing only to be reinforced by ME3. So no more preorders from me.

No; I only pre-ordered one game (ME3), and while that game was fantastic, its ending was bad. If the golks at BioWare release a reunion DLC...then I'll be much more inclined toe pre-order DA3.

No. They've already fooled me with the pre-order for ME3...and SW:TOR....and DA2...I won't be pre-ordering Dragon Age 3 regardless of what pretty digital baubles they offer, and for me it's going to have to be a contender for game of the century to get a sale afterwards....my breath is not being held.

I don't get what the big deal is about noy pre-ordering. Is it like a way to express your poutiness? I have never, in my life, pre-ordered anything and I don't plan to start now. It seems, in theory, to be an amazing way to disappoint yourself.

I liked my Darth Malgus statue that sits next to my moniter on the right side and Gwynbleidd head bust from Witcher 2 sits on the left, enjoyed both those CE items. Fallout 3's CE with the pip boy plastic clock that eats battery's ultra fast now that really sucked. ME3 though stretched my boundry's of CE an pre-ordering, the lithograph of the Normandy, A picture of the lithograph on a trading card was cheap, only thing from that I liked was the N7 Hoodie my charcter wears around though wish I had one in RL.

No, I won't preorder. If it was only DA:O, I surely would, but...
...not with so many uncertainties... like, will it have the origins software mandatory on PC or not (I also did not buy Skyrim due to Steam), and not after DA:2 being such a fail, gladly I haven't bought DA:2.
I will be waiting to see how it will look like on release, and if it is like DA:O, that means, no origin software, no steam, and, to me, enjoyable as DA:O, I will for sure buy it.

No reason not to pre-order, I can cancel said order in the unlikely event I don't like what I am seeing. Now whether or not I buy the inevitable collector's edition is a better question. >.>

Probably not.
BioWare burned me with DA2 then again with ME3. My faith in their ability to make good games while under EA is just about gone.
Eventually whether I'll buy DA3 at all will depend on what's said and shown in the marketing. If it's action focused marketing with more 'awesome' stuff like DA2 then consider me uninterested. However I do like to be wrong about these things so surprise me!
2 strikes, 2 out. This is your final chance BioWare...

Assuming this time my game store can get me an advanced copy like the DA2 signature edition (because they couldn't get me the collector's edition for ME3 for some reason), I'd gladly pre-order for promotional items.

To clarify my earlier statement:
I have DA:O, DA:A and DA:2. I also have ME1, ME2 and ME3.
I got DA:O because of a playthrough I watched Toegoff play on Youtube. Same for ME1; it looked like a good game and had good reviews.
DA:O was fantastic, kind of a meh ending (cheat on gf, drop your best friend, sucide), but it was a solid ending that made sense. Living was possible, given decisions made in the earlier game.
ME1 was also a fantastic game, my first RPG first person shooter, actually. I also thought ME2 was a better version of ME1; a little disappointed with the armor lack, but overall better with an EPIC boss fight/jump sequence to end it all.
I got DA:2 after the reviews, and after watching Toegoff play through it, so I had no illusions. I pre-ordered ME3, because I thought: "Eh, nobody could see a logical way to excuse a bad game after DA2." A-hah. A-hah.
In all due fairness, ME3 was incredible, a little rushed, but incredible. While the ending is officially rated as my most disliked ending to any media series, the rest of the game almost makes the end worth it. Almost, but not quite.
So, no. If BW makes DA3 equal to ME2, then I'll buy it, but later. Argus/Valkyrie rifles or N7 armor (or their DA3 equivalent) is not worth 10 bucks.

Part of me wants to say no, but there will inevitably a pre-order bonus that I'll decide I have to have. I prefer to play my games with all of the available companions, and I don't want to pay an extra $10 for it if I can get it rolled in, so I'll end up with the preorder.
Besides I loved DA:O. I didn't love DA2 quite as much but it was still a good game. There were some things better than DA:O in there, and some that weren't. I bet they'll find a pretty good balance. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
