Nudity comes in many shapes and forms....... ok, maybe full frontal get's the most hit's. But partial nudity, tastful nudity, gratuitous nudity etc, etc.

Simply put, let the nature of the character's dictate if they are or are not nude to varying degree's of skin exposure. Don't allow fan based bais to dictate how a relationship is resolved in a game that tradtionally allows the player to dictate the relationship, with who, how far and what manner the relationship takes.

It would not make sense for an Isabella character to pounce on her LI wearing an eskimo coat and matching gloves. Likewise,a Wynne character would not be seen gyrating around in a string bikini before putting on an exhibition match in front of the whole camp.

Both character's have their temperment's and those should be what inform the direction of the relationship. Not clothe's on or clothes off or somewhere inbetween........... as a rule. Let the character's set their own rule on the issue.

This is basically the point I would make. Nudity is not nessisary overall, but if they make a scene where logically the character would be nude, don't slap underwear on them and make it awkward. Nobody showers in their underwear. They could of made her nude and still not actually shown "the goods" with proper use of camera angles and cuts. The Liara scene did exactly that and it was flawless. *shrug*

If they don't want to make nude models even just to not show anything, like the Liara scene, then just don't make the scene to begin with. Otherwise it just comes off as odd and perhaps lazy. You don't make a scene sexy by taking half their clothes off and putting them in a situation that suggest all of their clothes should be put of but hey pg-13 yall. Its actually very distracting. (actually pg-13 allows partial nudity so idk what to call that) If you want a "safe" scene, make a safe scene. In this example, maybe just have Traynor talking from behind a closed shower door, where you can hear the water running. You get the information that she's taking a shower without actually seeing it. Easy, safe. Don't make a sexy scene that plays it too safe and costs believability.

I agree completely with that.

The DAs are not erotic games and I don’t want to have my characters nude if I remove their armour. To my point of view, without armour they could either wear underwear (being completely nude under an armour should be rather uncomfortable), or wear they default clothes, it is not because your companions follow you that they should agree to walk in a city in underwear (or nude) if you ask them to do it, if you don’t ask them to wear an armour they wear what they prefer.

By opposition having a sex scene in underwear is just weird!
If there are sex scenes, the protagonist should be nude but it doesn’t mean that their sexes should be shown (personally I would not consider that the game show too much if we see a breast or a butt but I would not specially expect it either). If the scenes are well done you can even suggest that the characters are nude without showing anything you don’t want by simply showing that the characters throw their underwear away for example.

Tasteful nudity to one person is explicit and vulgar to another. It's hard to get right. Personally I would prefer nudity to the underwear on stuff that tends to just look awkward.

Catherine Zeta Jone's once came down on a scene in the Mask of Zorro as being a scene that technically, contained a topless scene. But was well developed in narrative and context that she didn't mind. Plus it was not gratuitous.
