Nudity? You bet, there should be a ton of nudity. In fact, I think it's for the best that all our characters are naked throughout the entire game. We can call Dragon Age 3: "Dragons Gone Wild"! It will be great and awesome and...what was I talking about again?
Anyway, I think the best romances Bioware portrayed were in the original Mass Effect. If games are really going to live up to their "M for 'Mature'" label, I think this is a fair step. Do it as tastefully as possible, by all means, if that consists of keeping the camera angles away from the nipples or the genital area or what not; but keep it real. The idea that our romance options have been progressively putting
on more clothes for the romances in each new Bioware game just feels like the story is being compromised for children or something.
That said, I think what we saw with Liara and Ashley in Mass Effect 3 was taking a step in the right direction again. Not quite the same as the original Mass Effect, but it feels like a better compromise...though I'm sure you could argue about it being lacking in the LGBT romances. One step at a time, I suppose.
Sex is not a bad thing. While it can be crude, and certainly viewed for crude purposes, it can also be a beautiful thing; if done properly it really can add to the presentation of the overall story. The Mass Effect team said before the Extended Cut that they were keeping to their own artistic integrity, and if that's the case I think they should continue to hold onto it with more natural portrayals of relationships in their games.
