why would there be? There's no underwear slot, so taking off armor won't leave you naked.

Unless now underwear gives you stats, then it gets a slot.

Doesn't Australia have a ratings board, so it could cause problems as well.

Here in Australia The Witcher 2 came through uncut if i'm correct. It got an MA15+ rating, before R18+ rating even came out.
Both Dragon Age games and the Mass Effect trilogy also got the same ratings as well.

Yes, nudity from both sexes( meaning full frontal from the guys too). Balance goes a long way.

I think subtle nudity wouldn't hurt, similar to one from Mass Effect 1. Intercourse in underwear is a little...disturbing.

this makes sense. they should make it like ME1. it wasn't bad and that whole argument about fox news is irrelevant since the witcher 2 showed the entire female body nude and other games made the ME1 scene look like it was rated T.

I meant to add and I haven't seen much about people complaining about nudity in video games lately. also the people who complain about it are probably not gonna buy the game either way

I don't mind either way. I did think it was strange in DA2 how the male LI never take off anything though and of course the crazy underwear scenes in DA:O but I think there is a way to show the characters naked without actually showing anything (through angles or a conveniently placed arm or shoulder, etc...

Ideally stylistically i'd opt for them to adopt nudity ala TW2. However if that isn't a bridge they want to cross i'm fine with clever camera work or cutting away before nudity. Really the story is the big issue not whether the characters shed their clothes on screen.

For better or for worse, I think times have changed since ME1 was released.  What once would have caused an outcry will not raise any eyebrow anymore.

More ME1 style...have 'em nekkid, and use camera angles.....While the DA:O ones were fine, the undies were off putting (especially since after the first time all I could think was 'I wonder how often they get to wash their small clothes?')
