My issue is not with nudity per se, but with plausibility.
If it is plausible for a scene to have the characters unclothed, I hate it if they make them wear underwear just to avoid offending the f*cking fundamentalists. If you don't want nudity, then be honest about it and don't show scenes were it would be a necessity to be believable, and if you do want the scenes, then show them without censoring.
I love the mood of the ME1 romance scenes, but then came Faux News and since then they're sh*tting their pants at EA at the thought of a repeat. Cowards.
Sorry for the crude language, but this really sends me up the wall.
What? If anything the love scene with Liara in Mass Effect 3 showed more skin than the scene in Mass Effect 1. Don't kid yourself, that Fox report was a blessing for Bioware. Free publicity on one of the major news networks in the U.S.
And for the love of God, stop that silly argument that if you don't want nudity in games you're a fundementalist. I did a poll on THIS FORUM with over 850 people and it was split down the middle with who wanted nudity and who didn't. Considering Bioware's pro homosexual stance, you'd think fundementalist wouldn't frequent this forum.
A good game doesn't need to show ******, we're adults and can imagine what they do when they fade to black.
The Witcher 2 scenes were cheesy and comical when I saw them. Especially the famous Triss in the bath scene, it was like watching one of those soft porn flicks that played at 23:00 when you're a 16 year old teen.
