Nudity isn't required, but sure, have it. Not like it really hurts anyone.

School shooting = Society blames violent video games
Children looking at porn = Video game boobs corrupted those children
Neither of these make any sense, but idiots believe anything the media dresses up pretty
Developers need to start pushing the line to send the message "We're here, we're not doing anything other forms of media aren't, and we aren't going away".

The leaving on of the underwear in Origins really bothered me because it said, to me at least, that they were going for nudity, at least partial, but then punked out, got scared, and added a underwear because people totally leave all of their undergarments on during sex. Nudity is a great thing, I happen to love it, and if this is a mature title then it should be included.
Also, I'm not sure if you're aware but everyone is naked under their clothes. Pixel nudity won't come as a world ending shock I'm sure.

I like my suggestions about creative camera angles.
Couple that with more back shots and it would be fine.

It adds nothing to a story , hell it doesn't in a movie so got me why it's even a discussion.
It means that characters no longer need to wear underwear while having sex. True, nudity isn't vital, but it's realistic and much less awkward.

It doesn't detract from the story either.
If handled properly, nudity can help enhance the mood and authenticity of any number of scenes.

That happened years ago though. Things are different now.AresXX7 wrote...

Both TW2 and Dante's Inferno depict full frontal (female) nudity, genitals and all, and there both rated M.
Funny, considering that if both of those games can keep an M rating while showing full frontal (even depicting sex, in the case of the Witcher), why was GTA: San Andreas repackaged with an AO rating when the hot coffee mod was discovered? That is much more humble than anything in the Witcher.
Two words:
Hilary Clinton
Once she caught wind of the hot coffee scene, she launched a campaign against it.
(why? I honestly haven't got a clue)
The Hot Coffee thing was before TW2 and Dante's Inferno and that was when the whole crusade against nudity in video games was in full swing being led by Jack Thompson. Once he got disbarred later on down the road, the whole video game crusade died down.
As for Hillary Clinton, I get the feeling she just looked at the surface of the topic of the Hot Coffee situation and made a decision to support the anti-nudity video game side of the debate without researching it. Politicians tend to have a habit of doing that sort of thing and can be misled if they don't get all the details. You rarely see a good politician that actually tries to ensure they have all the details.
Nowadays, no one will care as long as the games are properly rated for their content. As long as Bioware has their game properly rated, then there is nothing anyone can do about it and no one will really care.

Leave that to the modders. There are sure to be many body-types and pubic hairstyles. Even expanded, more graphic sex scenes that will pretty much end up looking like the sex scenes in "Team America."
I think Bioware's writers were all involved with those Team America scenes, because it's exactly how they've made the scenes of all their latest games look.

Most of the DA mods invove armor or appearance.
There are a few that go beyond that, like the Zevran wedding, the funeral mod, and the hilarious camp conversations mods.
By comparison the Bethesda game mods are way more numerous including alleged pornographic mods and no I've never seen them.
The DA romance mods I've seen involve putting Anora's face on anoyher character's body for a romance scene.
Stuff like that. Tame stuff.
Regardless, I hope the romance scenes are tastefully done and enhance our role playing experience.

No, simply because it's not necessary and wouldn't add anything but controversy with all the conservative groups.
I'm sure it's already been discussed considering how many pages are in this thread, but I would really hope that if nudity were somehow needed because of a story or plot point, Bioware wouldn't shy away from it just because of pressure from unimportant fringe groups. I'm sure they are somewhat, but at this point I think Bioware has enough power and support within the gaming community to essentially give those people the finger and do what they want creatively.
