Or will they finally reveal what has happened to The Warden and Hawke. They need to include all this in the story - If the main character of DA3 just disapears at the end I'm going to  be really annoyed.

I really hope they don't do this. It has been so overdone and every time a game does it I get so pissed. I want some kind of freaking closure!

I hope not. Hopefully this game brings a conclusion ot our character instead of leaving there fates a mystery. Dragon Age Origins did alright with this even if the conclusion of Witch Hunt was a bit of a cliff hanger. DA2's ending was awful though. Please Bioware bring some conclusion to DA3's protagonist. I would personally like to see multiple endings one being sad and the other ending on a happier note.

I would much rather the character gets betrayed and dies. Some dirty trick at the end, like in Red Dead Redemption.

Yeah, the protagonist mysteriously vanishing is not an ending I want to see again.

Why not a retirement plan?

Like earlier in the game (say twice so you can change it and role-play your character changing their mind) have someone ask them "When this mess is done what do you want to do?" And then when the game's done you do what you said. Retire to a farm and live a quiet life, enter politics and change the world with political clout, move to Rivain, buy a ship, and see what the hell's north of Par Vollen.

You know. Give an absolute end to the character. And nothing mysterious. And probably the love interest too which means probably cutting them out of appearances in sequels.

Eh, I'm fine with a protagonist rides off into the sunset ending. It allows me the ability to come up with my own story. 'Cause really, other than your PC dying, what real closure can you expect? There is always something that can happen after the end of the plot.

Maybe something like the ending to BG2. The way Irenicus ends. the main character surrounded by enemies or monsters. Then they leap at him and begin to overwhelm him.

DAO had this and it was great.

Then DA2 had you disappear anyway. Doubly awful by having it come from the mouth of Leliana if she was your LI.

My first post on the DA3 forums is to complain about this. As it should be. I think I'll go find another thread to compain about this for my second post as well.

No. All three PCs will go into a deathmatch and the last one standing gets given the keys to the (re)Golden City.

How about something like the end of the Elric saga? Replace Elric with the Warden Commander, the Champion, and whoever we are in this one are all lying dead on the ground, and Flemeth flies off into the horizon as quite literally a new age is ushered in as the earth changes around them all.

No. No. No. God, no. They better bring a sense of closure if I'm going to be investing 50+ hours into one game.

No. He'll fuse with Flemeth and be the new decider of the Veil.

We will only see a short scene where he takes a single breath below a pile of rubble. Everything else will be head canon.

Yeah the Red Dead Redemption ending was just AMAZING...though if there is an ending like that, hopefully it only happens based on the choices you pick and the actions you do throughout the game.
