Maybe the circumstances will be different next time around but, as far I know, she's still a qunari spy. In Thedas, do they hang spies, or just stab them?

If she is in Dragon Age ]I[... well, I won't be happy at all, especially if she is forced upon us again and everyone will like her and there will be cupcakes, rainbows and nug mate calls.... ugh.

Setting aside my personal gripes against Tallis as a character and everything that occurred in MotA:Why would the DA3 protagonist want to kill Tallis?
I can safely say, with 100% certainty, that any Mage character I play (in any game franchise) would kill somebody that threatened their very existence to the same extent that the Qun does.
If the Qun simply demanded the death of Mages, I'm sure my protagonist could overlook it. However, the physical and emotional imprisonment that the Qun demands of Mages - So that they, as a people, can continue to use them as War Assets - is not something that any of my Mage Protagonists would abide, in any capacity.
Equality for all, except Mages? Fine, just give me the option to show these Qun loving hypocrites that I'm not going to stand by while Mages are demoralized and strong-armed into military service.
Control and containment is one thing - But exploitation is quite another, and Tallis is a part of it.
----
Before anyone decides to get into a debate about this - My opinion exists outside of the Qun and, regardless of what the Qunari themselves believe, my opinion will always be that Qunari Mages are placed under extreme duress and exploited for the sake of fear and bigotry.
Not technically a very politically correct view point, but without being given the proper insight into the culture, or the mind of the victim and the proceedings that surround their "control system", it's hard to see the Qunari treatment of Mages as anything but abusive.

I really wanted to kill her in the MoTA DLC, but I rather we never see her or hear her mentioned EVER again! MoTA was bad enough and I don't think I could handle it again. I think it's just so stupid of BioWare doing things like "celebrity guest stars". Please be more original BioWare... Felicia Day is one of the most annoying people on the planet and I don't want to hear or see her in every frikkin' game I buy. I can't wait till she falls off the radar.

I say let her continue her existence as a brainwashed and confused tool in an eternal but fruitless search for identity and purpose.
btw I think Felicia Day did a great job, unlike Chobot. Day's acting invoked strong feelings and reaction. Mostly hatred, yes, but that's still credit to her skill. Chobot invokes nothing - her acting is as obviously unnatural and out of place as if the game had suddenly freezed necessitating you to manually reboot your PC/console.

The reason to kill her at the end of MotA is because she's an agent of a hostile power trying to walk away with an extraordinarily valuable piece of intel. But, no matter what, Hawke can't do that.Grizzly46 wrote...
I was probably late for the 'lets kill tallis!' party too, but can someone please tell me why? Sure, the addon didn't add much more than som more gameplay, but Tallis was ok. Annoying, slightly dangerous with a philosophical/religious belief I don't trust, but to kill her? Nah.
Frustration results. Urge to kill... rising... etc.
If Hawke could have taken the Heart of the Many, but left Tallis alive, I don't think there would be much call to kill her now.

I don't really feel the need to kill her, though.

Felicia Day is charming and cute and funny, but Tallis was incredibly annoying. Just please stay away from "celebrity guest stars" in DA3. And "gaming journalists" fall in this category. Just no.

Well, that's how it comes off as. They should just stick with professional voice actors imo.

It would of made sense for a Hawke to kill Tallis if they wished in MoTA but I don't think it makes sense for the new protagonist to. They wouldn't of known the events of MoTA unless they some how found out or unless we possibly met her again and can kill her based on some new event.
Anyways I vote no. Sorry she has my nose.

Perhaps. Couldn't understand people disliking Liara either. I guess the line between cute and annoying can be a bit blurry at times...Svanhildr wrote...

Why would the DA3 protagonist want to kill Tallis? If you played a Hawke who was upset or angered by the encounter with Tallis in MotA, then yeah, maybe Hawke might have cause to seek revenge. But thus far, there has been no confirmation that Hawke will be in the next game.
If that's the case, just having Tallis make a cameo for the purpose of being stabbed doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.
+1 -Also, why do people want to kill everything they don't like............. kind of.........unhealthy.

I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are pretty slim that I'd put a character in the game solely because some psychopath on the forums demanded they be there in order to be murdered. Chances are far better, in fact, that such advocacy would entice me to include them and make them unkillable.
Actually, that's a lie. It wouldn't sway me, regardless. It's amusing they seem to think it might, however.
