What type of male do you want to see with the female protagonist?  What type of female do you want to see with your male protagonist?  Feel free to speculate about the rumored characters or state your own personal preferences or predictions here!

As a male i would like to see females with dark humor like Morrigan or the counterpart of her the "puppy eyed" shy ones like Merill.

I would like to see someone like morrigan or isabela, just not as... frisky... as isabela. Some of her lines got a little irritating when romancing her. A wynne character you could romance would be good too. Also, I WANTED AVELINE! Ya know, obtuse and oblivious but sweet and extremely capable.

I was personally dissappointed by the fact that she wasn't romanceable. Avaline felt the most human out of the female companions.
I would love for character along Avaline's type to be a romanceable character in DA3.

And yes, both felt a lot more real than most of the characters. Although isabela was actually pretty good later in the game.

As a female, I think Cullen is a must at this point. He MUST NOT be an Alistair clone though. I want him to flush out as his own character, maybe even a little shy and embarrassed like he was with his crush on the Mage in DA;O. Another elf is a must too, something new in terms of personality would be nice, even though I adored the broody Fenris and the promiscuious Zeveran.

I also want at least ONE LI that has a personality reminisant of Varric from DA2's or Garrus from Mass Effect. I know a LOT of people were disappointed Varric wasn't romancable, and I was one of them. A male with the same dark, almost sexy personality as Morrigan would be bloody great to see as well.

In terms of female LIs for a Male Protag, Cassandra seems a clear choice for an LI, hopefully M/F and F/F. A Female Kossith LI would also be interesting to see, or a female Dwarf. If we do have someone like Aveline again, I would like her to be romancable too, there are those of us who do like the strong and proud woman in their lives (Somehow I imagine Cassandra would fill this role nicely).

Words right out of my mouth. Maybe a rogue with mysterious intentions and as it turns out, does not have a heart of gold.

As for a female, an Aveline type would be great.

I kinda agree. I would like to see another Varric/Alistair romance. I don't mind a bit weeping here and there, emotional stuff, but Fenris and Anders was simply too butthurt for my tastes. I just couldn't imagine anyone wanting to pursue a romanctic relationship with any of them.

Seconding a male Morrigan!
I've been generally very pleased with previous male LIs. Alistair and Zevran were so much fun. Both Anders and Fenris started off great but veered off straight into butthurt land at the end. (Didn't get Sebastian, it pisses me off to pay extra for a character.) My only peeve is that two LI's are not enough, so please include at least three male LIs for FemQuisitor!

I think females should get a male dancer. No, seriously. I never play as females (just breaks some of my immersion, tbh), but why should we men only get the sexual characters? Also, why we're at it, MAKE SLAVE GEAR FOR MALE CHARACTERS IN TOR. Like, seriously...

For male characters, I would like a female elf that isn't waifu material. Blasphemy, I know, but I hated Merril. Also, if she could not, you know, have a giant neck, that would be super. Elves are not Avatar folk, IMPO. They were fine in DAO. Also, female Qunari rogue (character type, not necessarily class)

I too did like Aveline a lot. It would be great to have a female LI who is pragmatic and capable and stoic.
As for Male LI, well... Seeing that the DVD release of the Avengers nighs, I was reminded of my love for Lok.  I'd love to have a LI  similar to his character. You know...Calm, mischievios, smart etc.
This, of course, has nothing to do with Loki being played by Tom Hiddleston :innocent:

Also, for some reason I did like James Vega in ME3 and wasn't pleased to find out that he was not romancable. Someone like him would surely be a lot of fun to have around in a DA game and even more fun to romance.

I want a male and female character with backbones so that their relationship will be like a power struggle. I want the female to be similar to Cassandra (she's strong, independent, etc.) and male the same way, i think it'd be interesting to see that kind of relationship in the game, it'd make for an interesting romance in my opinion.

My female inquisitor would like to romance a bookwormy type like Finn from Witch Hunt. Maybe make him a bit better looking though, more manly, jmo. Still he was adorable, I love a nerd .

I also like the thought of a male Morrigan and would looove 3 males to choose from instead of only 2.

I want this, a man who's not afraid to hurt me, and can take everything I dish out. My favourite romances are the ones where the lovers clash, admittedly they tend not to last but as they say opposites attract. This was why I liked rivalry so much, romancing a rival was more fun because of this power struggle potential. Now if they could perfect it.

Also apologies to those saying Male morrigan or Female Alistair, but I want somthing new. Maybe somthing similar, but moslty original.

Varric\\Garrus is indead a desirable option. I am sure guys would not mind a supportive female LI either. Can not thank enough BW for Garrus but non-LI Varric was an admitted mistake

Though... It's very tempting to say "surprise me" (as horrible as it sounds). And so far DA did not put us down in that department, quite the opposite - amazing characters, beautiful LI arcs.

I know for sure what I DO NOT want to see - Sebastian or Nathaniel. But it's unlikely we will get only one option, so, I do not worry too much.

 I'd like to see someone with many different sides to him. On the one hand, he'd be kind and thoughtful, on the other he'd maybe make fun of you and muck about. 
I'd  also like to see him be quite protective around the main female character. Sure, the female player would be fierce and able to kill darkspawn with one stroke of her sword but a girl always likes to feel protected by a manly man right?
