I think he meant Regalyan in Dawn of the seeker, but I do not think that is canon.

True. Its not canon unless you want to. Same goes with the comics and the novels. It doesn't have to be canon in your game. David Gaider himself has said that a long time ago.

It is canon. It is about Cassandra, and her past. And it will be the same Cassandra in DA3, more mature and some years after. Obviously, it isn't about one event that depends from your decisions in the game.

she's like Aveline (with different accent)

at least she better than most of the other DA2 LI all of them act like they're the center of universe.

Anders - Templar bad and suck, Chantry useless I need to blow them up.

Isabela - Sex, Sex, Sex

Merril - Blood magic this, Blood magic that.

Fenris - Mage bad and suck, Templar should kill them all.

I prefer characters like Aveline and Varric to be in my party but that just me.

After reading further discussion on this thread and someone else posting the spoiler instead of me, I can agree that she should be romancable. 1) The Dawn of the Seeker only alluded to her having a possibly romance with Regalyan at the end, and 2) that would have taken place five years before the opening of DA3. Plenty of time to find out that he's not the one she can commit to.

Let the romancing of Cassandra begin.

I wonder if she'll forget to put pants on again like the movie. Cassandra in armor without pants looked pretty hot.

I don't understand. What's so special about Cassandra? What makes her so likable?

To me she's about as important as the Big Ben Sniper. Now that DA3 runs on a different engine, it puts into doubt whether BW can re-use her DA2 model in DA3, making it even less likely for her to appear.

Because she's got a temper. I like that.

IMO Isabella and Varric are the strongest charathers in DA2,Aveline is just to boring, while Cassandra is a lot more fun.Isabella isn't just sex sex sex, there is much more to her,and if you dig trough her romance story and all,she is a very good written charather.

There is no way, that if Cassandra appears as a party member, she is not going to be romancable. It would be like saying, "Hey! Guess what?! CULLEN is a party member! But you can't romance him cuz he's in a monogamous relationship with the Maker."

I hope not. As I understand it that was a training outfit, and she does get a nasty wound because of that. But it may be interesting to see heavy armor types in casual clothes sometime.

About her being romanceable, it would be nice... although I still wish Aveline would have been.

I think its a pretty good bet that she will at least be in DA3 and probably a party member. So what do we think? Will she be romanceable or will she have some celibacy vow like Samara in ME2 (though such a vow didnt stop Leliana lol).

Do you even want her to be romanceable?

DO you care one way or another?

I want to her to be a potential LI, and either a party member or at least an important npc that you interact with regularly.

Considering that templars can marry (case in point: Aveline's late husband), I don't see Cassandra taking a vow of celibacy.

After watching Dawn of the Seeker I really liked her character, so if she is a party member I would like to see her as a LI.

I don't think Leliana took a vow at the time that you met her. You may be dissapointed with Cassandra but lets wait and see.

She hadn't. The player can ask her 'if her fruit is forbidden' and she'll reply something like 'I can't believe I'm having this conversation, but no, I didn't take my vows'.

Leliana was an initiate to an order of cloistered sisters, Cassandra was a Seeker.

Different Orders, different vows.

Okay that is true, but what I'm trying to say is that I don't think people need to worry about it. Bioware knows she is popular and I doubt they will make her a companion without beign a LI.

I only want her to be romanceable if she's bi. She's such a great character, if she's a straight LI then I might have to cry :P Don't want to create a male character for her.

Besides, she wouldn't be the first LI who starts the game in relationship with another npc, only for him to meet an unpleasant end.

Case in point: Jaheira in BG2 and Aribeth in NWN.

Please stop the hype... " such a great character ? " Where did you get that idea ? With the few moments we saw in DA2 or the awful movie ?

I was dumb enough to watch that anime movie, and after seeing her jump around with no regards to gravity, or whatever, I don`t really want to see the character ever again. Everything about her would be immersion breaking.
