It is canon. It is about Cassandra, and her past. And it will be the same Cassandra in DA3, more mature and some years after. Obviously, it isn't about one event that depends from your decisions in the game.Milan92 wrote...

really?? by whom??
I think he meant Regalyan in Dawn of the seeker, but I do not think that is canon.
True. Its not canon unless you want to. Same goes with the comics and the novels. It doesn't have to be canon in your game. David Gaider himself has said that a long time ago.

By whom is she taken?
I'm not at liberty to say.

I don't understand. What's so special about Cassandra? What makes her so likable?
To me she's about as important as the Big Ben Sniper. Now that DA3 runs on a different engine, it puts into doubt whether BW can re-use her DA2 model in DA3, making it even less likely for her to appear.

she's like Aveline (with different accent)
at least she better than most of the other DA2 LI all of them act like they're the center of universe.
Anders - Templar bad and suck, Chantry useless I need to blow them up.
Isabela - Sex, Sex, Sex
Merril - Blood magic this, Blood magic that.
Fenris - Mage bad and suck, Templar should kill them all.
I prefer characters like Aveline and Varric to be in my party but that just me.

I wonder if she'll forget to put pants on again like the movie. Cassandra in armor without pants looked pretty hot.

I think its a pretty good bet that she will at least be in DA3 and probably a party member. So what do we think? Will she be romanceable or will she have some celibacy vow like Samara in ME2 (though such a vow didnt stop Leliana lol).
Do you even want her to be romanceable?
DO you care one way or another?

I don't think Leliana took a vow at the time that you met her.

Okay that is true, but what I'm trying to say is that I don't think people need to worry about it. Bioware knows she is popular and I doubt they will make her a companion without beign a LI.
