Knight, because my first playthrough was a warrior noble. Phoenix because that's my favorite creature and symbol (related to the history of my own people).

My real name is Ayman and it has nothing to do with my username really. It means lucky.

Mine used to be unique to the game Starflight. It's the name of a fuel used in starships, until it is discovered that the 'fuel' is a sentient being.

Starflight is such an amazing game.  I was so pissed when my wheel got misplaced and the damn cops when I was younger.

I am Bomfy because it's a nickname I inherited.  Nothing exciting to it.

I am a very weird person in general and real life as people say, personally I think everyone is weird including me so I guess that's the word "deviant" took place and the K is because my real name starts with a K.

Blampied is my last name, most people prefer to call me that and it's stuck with me since it's unique and easy to remember. Only problem is 99% of people can't pronuce it right Image IPB (Silly billies). Pied is french for foot, pronuce that right at least and I'll be happy, happy, happy Image IPB (and it's worth a kiss if you're a lady Image IPB)

I don't know a whole lot behind my name, my father tells me it means whitefoot but who knows, maybe it does, maybe it doesn't.

AzurieL is another throwback to 40k. it is named after Azrael (dark angels grand master) and i just decided to put my own spin on it. the the capital L at the end :).... oh and for some reason i use AzurieL as my name in every game i can (the only reason i put the Lord Grimnar in was becasue on the bioboards it wouldnt let me use AzurieL

Amberyl = cribbed unsuspectingly from an obscure character name in Dragonlance, whose only claim to fame was having an affair with Raistlin Majere and giving birth to a child afterwards. Not quite exactly memorable for all the right reasons. Then again, Amber is my RL nickname, so it is fitting that Amberyl should be its fantasy counterpart.

Ravenclaw = probably hijacked from the Harry Potter series. I maintain a very poor claim to originality.

My username is a sort of a parody of Fox News. Fairandbalanced. And then I added fan to it. Btw, I am not fair & balanced when it comes to most things.

Oh my, this question again. Seems to me I'll have to bore people with this boring story, but you "arsked" for it.

Dark as darkness... nothing to think about that I guess. Lauron is my family name changed into a more evil way, into an evil lord way in fact. Especially that "on". It's read as

L in everything that has an "L"

A as in Amazing, the first A anyways...

U as in the double o in Good.

Ron as the name.

Simple but boring.

Btw, I and a pair of people were playing the evil overlords 3 years ago, when I was... 16 or 17, just in case you know. And always remember, I AM the Lauron. No one else has the right to have this name. Heck even my parents call me Lauron...

Yay! Another one of these threads.
Well my username derives from a story/short novel I'm working on. The protagonist is an elven demigod called Andarthiel so there you go. I liked the name so much that I've used it as my alias/handle all over the internet etc. ever since.
