And Firerax! Wasn't the big dragon in KOTOR named something similar??

Honestly, I don't know what KOTOR is! Image IPB And Firerax isn't all that big, he's like a regular dragon, T-Rex size-ish. I thought of the name after playing Sid Meirers Aplha Centauri, a long long time ago! It was made by Fire-Axis or something like that.

Another character, for fun, more detail with this one! All of them are from the same world, planning on writing a book sometime.

Denze Silversong (Shael'un) - Denze was the only son to the drow legendary warrior Shael'un, only male to gain as must prestigue in drow society as the emperess. Denze's mother was the founder of the silver elves, a group of elves that left the drow society and lived good lives. As such, Denze's mother became an angel to the elven Godess, and the silver elves lost their dark hued skin, gaining a sparkling grey skin instead. The main city of the silver elves, Civerleaf, was destroyed by an unknown force, who the elves expected to be the gaurdian silver dragon of the underdark, Ciraxalatosis. Denze's mother had been assinated before the attack and could not warn them of the oncoming danger, and her spirit was what protected him as her lept through a wall of flame that prevented any from escaping. He went on a suicide hunt for Ciraxalatosis, not caring if he came back or not, but determined to slay the beast. The ancient dragon had protected the underdark from hordes. The battle between them was epic! The beast seemed to be toying with Denze, but soon enough got fed up of the fray. It lept back and breathed it silver breath, Denze attempted to dive to the side but couldn't make it out of the width, his side caught the flame, feeling like millions of swords cutting through his skin, stabbing and ripping at his flesh. The pain was unbearable, Denze was brought to his knees, bowing to the approaching dragon. She gloated over him "You mortals never learn" Denze gasped back at his prey, "Prideful as ever". With that he pulled all the strength he held, the prowess from his fathers blood, and diving straight at the dragon, he pierced it's shiny scales with his fathers sword, cutting straight into it's heart. The dragon keeled over, astonished in it's final moments that it was slayed by something so insignificant. Revelations clouded her mind, her faults and wrong doings, her righteous works throughout the years, realising why Denze had come to kill her. She whispered in her fading breath "Sisienta". A drow word that was never spoken by the race, "I am sorry". With that Denze fell over, collasping from no strength, submitting to oblivion. Time later, be it hours, days, or even weeks, he awoke. His side burned still from the dragons attack, but alive. He slowly made his way out of the cave systems and to the nearest town. From then on Denze became a dragon slayer, the only one to hunt dragons down single handedly.

Firerax wrote...

Firerax is a mythical red dragon of immense power. Eons ago he broke into the Heavens and learned of the God's secrets, power, and immortality, but he was cast out and left barely existing. Struggling since then to regain his power, he's devised ways of gaining what he once lost.

Emilly Rose, my character (and believe it or not I had that name before the movie!) is an Elf from the city of Laenchide, the last of the Elven cities that remained upon the world. Laenchide lies in the midst of the Lost Forest, a place so treacherous and dangerous that not even the most learned and determined can find their way through. Most never come back alive. The city was destroyed though, by Firerax, leaving barely a trace of the once beautiful place, and no survivors, except one, Emilly. The elves their never dabbled with magic, believing that power corrupts, but Emilly was born with the gift. This perhaps is what saved her life during the attack. It's probably also the cause of her green hair, which gave her a lot of grief from the other elves who all had fair hair.

I've got a few more characters if you'd like to know. ^_^

As many as your willing to share!!!:o:O:O

Ausgebombt is a song by the german thrash metal band Sodom, it means bombed out in german. The reason I picked it is because its one of the coolest words I've heard, good song, and Warfalcon was already picked (my first WoW character name and PSN tag).

My name is from an old Marvel comics hero, iirc. I liked the name and |Rage| was my first char on Diablo 1, then Starcraft where we added the GT tag so we could play together against clan players. GT means "Galera da Toca", not Georgia Tech! =)

I also kinda created the Allycat, afaik, in '96, to use it on IRC channels. After my name, really, Leo (a lion is a cat right?) Alli. Some Allyson girls msg'ed me about how they liked it and started using it, registering it everywhere so I could not keep it in most cyber places but my email (one of them) is still allycat@something since 1996.

Heck, even my RageGT got copied in some places! Talk about "pladurism"!

Edit: Forgot my char names!

Rage - dog Bruno
ShadowRage - dog - Mithôr (grey friend in sindarin)
Ragedôr - dog - Thör
RageBow - dog - Arwën (it's a ****)
Nina - dog - Taurus

My favorite/lucky number is 8.
Skydiver+some number of 8s on the end has been my forum handle across the internet for longer than many of you have been alive, probably.  well, except on skydiving forums, because that would just be silly.

I name my *characters* after similar types of characters in fantasy novels that i adore, usually.  Elle is not, but i did love Kristen Bell in Heroes

If you read (propably not, because it is written Finnish) old Finnish book "Seven brothers" (Seitsemän veljestä) written by Aleksis Kivi, my user/gaming name tells my surname, but not my first name. I have formatted the name a little, because it doesn't tell my genre. Cryptic?

Nephelix - Nephelix is a mage of immense power. He was born of a powerful and and gained sorcereretic abilities, but also studied magic vigorously. He murdered his father and mother at a young age, his father being a renowned mage of great abilities. He began to practice forbidden arts, necromancy. Controlling life and death, or more specifically, death, Nephelix planned on making a new kingdom upon the earth, where the races are not judged by the God's for their acts, which he seemed unfair. He desired a paradise where only the strong survive! And he, ofcourse, being the strongest. His magical abilities provde unstopable, and eventually he built an emepire far north out of the reach of the kingdoms of men where he, and few loyalists, fashioned an army of undead. Nephelix's power was sufficient and his will strong enough, to drive the dead bones and control the turned, to march down into the south and begin to force his rule upon all, if they desired eternal undead life or not. It took the rallying of all civilized races, Dwraves, Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, and the dominant man, to combat this army. Eventually it was the knigdom of men that were able to get a battalion of men past the vast dead armies to strike at Nephelic himself. The battalion was led by one of the kings 5 sons, Grean. They were able to break through the defenses and keep the undead at bay whilst one of the remaining 2 of 5 brotherhood mages, mages of power granted by the Gods to watch over the world, fought with Nephelix. It was Tessairdor, the prophet, who was granted a knowledge and kinship with magic capable of predicting the future with great accuracy, who came out victotious. But he took a sore curse from the battle, which caused him to age rapidly. Usually a mages power kept them youthful, but after meer months Tessairdor looked like death itself and soon was not to be found. Nephelixes forces, dwindling, did not become undone. Without leadership they were no more than wandering hateful corpses, but something was still keeping many of them animated.

Brogan - A true Dwarven hero, he enjoys his ale and won't be caught dead wielding anything he might consider "nancy" such as a dagger, mace, flail or staff. His favourite weapons are hammers and axes, especially the Stone Cutter axe, the kings rightful weapon. The king however lends it to Brogan on dangerous missions, and Brogan always jokes that the blade is more his than the kings. He was born of noble parents in the Stonefist clan, the same clan the dwarven king is from. Brogans most epic adventure was killing a black dragon with a large group of tough dwarves. The dragon had taken over one of the dwarves mines, and dwarves are vigorously prideful and dominative. Brogan was the only one to return from the expedition. Dwarves and Elves never got along, however Brogan's views upon elves changed after the dragon meeting. He respected those elves who were able to fend for themselves. This was because he met Denze Silversong whilst hunting for the dragon. Although Denze wasn't allowed to join the dwarves as they didn't want to be indepted in the least, he still looked and found the dragon as it was battling and butchering the dwarven soldiers. Denze used this to his advantage, and with the dragon killing blade Shael'un, slayed the beast saving but a single dwarf's life, who admittedly weakened it and gave it a fight for it's money, but was not strogn enough to take it down. Brogan is still an avatar of all other dwarven traits, and has honed his abilities greatly since then, but admits that he could never fell a dragon upon his own. He takes great pleasure however knowing that, although not as quick and skillful as Denze, he is by far stronger and capable of taking much more pain and indeed damage. Infact he survived and shrugged off the deadly hallowing breath of the black dragon several times, something few live to speak of.

Pgfizzle is quite simple actually. Its my first and last initials, followed by "fizzle".

I picked it up at a summer camp I worked at, and at the dances everybody had water cups out, and people had to come up with creative ways to tell them apart. Then I saw a girl next to me write "ZAfizzle" on her cup, and I followed suit.

It was amusing, though, when I played L4D. People kept calling me "pigfizzle" or just "pig" and I thought it was silly.

Darkened = Lengthened from my usual Dark Dragon nick, has both a religious and scholastic significance

-Religiously I am an celtic based wiccan. Ergo, I am not an "enlightened" church going individual.

-Scholastically speaking, everyone learns something new all the time. Which means I am and will always be "in the dark" about something.

Dragon = Dragons throughout various myths were viewed as wise. Now this is not stating I believe I am such. But, it is what I strive to become LOL.

Darkened Dragon = an ever-learning being that will one day become wise.

As to my character names. I tend to pull most of them out of midair LOL ... no real significance to them just make them up as I go.

In the beginning was the Great Goddess, and the Goddess was the Earth, and the Earth was the Goddess. /im/in/in_lilith2_e.jpgThe origins of the cult of the Great Goddess lie hidden in the dim twilight of prehistoric time. The Goddess ruled for hundreds of thousands of years. In the course of time, the Mother-Goddess was overthrown and driven under, and the triumph of the most patriarchal of archetypes - Jahwe, God the Father, Allah - was complete in the Judaic, Christian and Moslem worlds. It was only in the tamed form of Mary, Mother of God, that some aspects of the Mother Goddess were permitted to survive. Various Black Madonnas in ancient sanctuaries still bear witness to her.

The figure of Lilith represents one aspect of the Great Goddess. In ancient Babylon, she was worshipped as Lilitu, Ischtar or Lamaschtu. Jewish mythology already puts her into darker realms - an evil Demon of the night, a fitting mate for Satan, lying in wait for men, and killing children.
The Astronomical Lilith
The Moon travels along an elliptical path around the Earth. An ellipse has two focal points, and the other focal point, not occupied by the Earth has been called the Dark Moon, the Black Moon or Lilith. This is a slightly simplified definition, since, actually, the Moon and the Earth both move around their common centre of gravity, and the path of the Moon is not a neat ellipse, but a rather wobbly affair. One must distinguish between the mean orbit of the Moon, which is a slowly elongating ellipse, and the actual orbit, which vaccilates around the mean path, due to interference of various kinds. Just as there a "mean" and a "true" Lunar Node, so there is a "mean" and a "true" ellipse and a "mean" and a "true" Lilith. I write "true" in inverted commas, because the Moon's Node is only "true" about twice per month, when the Moon is actually on it, for the rest of the time, it is as "untrue" as the mean Node. In fact, when working with a point so close to the Earth, one should also take the great parallax into consideration, i.e. consider, from which point on the Earth one is actually looking at a point in the heavens. Astrology observes the planets geocentrically, as if from the Earth's centre, and not topocentrically, from the actual place of the observer.

/im/in/blackmoon_e.jpg

The Dark Moon has also been defined as the apogee of the Moon's orbit, or that point in the orbit farthest from the Earth. Both these points, the apogee and the second focal point, lie on the long axis of the orbital ellipse, the line of apsides. Seen from the Earth, they lie in the same direction, and therefore occupy the same place in the zodiac. The second focal point lies at a distance only about 36´000 km from the Earth, the apogee at about 400´000 km. Apart from this, both definitions can be regarded as being equivalent. Because the orbit of the Moon continually shifts forward in space, the Dark Moon moves along the zodiac at about 40° per year. A complete revolution takes 8 years and 10 months.
Lilith in the Chart
The glyph used for Lilith is a black Moon, as opposed to that used for the real Moon. Lilith is included in the chart drawing Type 2.AC, some other drawing types, such as 2.AT show Lilith in the table of planetary positions.
Interpreting Lilith
"During my years of astrological practice, I have come to use the Dark Moon in all my chart analyses, as a complement to interpretating the Moon. It would never occur to me to neglect this influence. The Dark Moon describes our relationship to the absolute, to sacrifice as such, and shows how we let go. In transit, the Dark Moon indicates some form of castration or frustration, frequently in the areas of desire, a powerlessness of the psyche, or a general inhibition. On the other hand, it shows where we question ourselves, our lives, our jobs, and our beliefs. I feel this is important, since it gives us the opportunity to "let go" of something. The Dark Moon shows where we can let the Whole flow into our selves, without putting an "I" in the way, without putting up a wall in the form of ego. At the same time, it doesn't indicate passivity - on the contrary - it symbolizes the firm will to be open and trusting, to let the Greater World flow through one, relying entirely on the great laws of the universe, on that which we name God. To prepare us for this opening, the Dark Moon creates a necessary void."

(Joëlle de Gravelaine in "Lilith und das Loslassen", Astrologie Heute Nr. 23)

I thought it very fitting for me.I write dark Love poetry and deal in bondage as well.
