As i read on a post,i'm to bored to go dig for it ,someone said that being named Hawke is just too personal and that you don't feel special becouse everyone else is hawke, and that THE WARDEN had like a wider feel to it.Like everyone has his own Warden.Well if you agree that a title is better than a last name, why don't everyone call or DA III hero THE INQUISITOR and not by his name,I think that would be cool.

I think that this is what they are planning to do and I like it because we are not forced to a name.

Exactly how i feel,i didn't feel special when called Hawke, becouse just everyone is playing a guy named Hawke, and to make it worse it was so linear that we baisicly all played the same Hawke

I don't actualy mind forced last names, Shepard worked just fine. Nobody really complains about it.

But I guess DA2 sucked in most people's opinion, so it gets extra flak even from that. Plus, I just think it's good RP to have some things player can't decide, like his last name, which is true for real life too. Unless you want to change it in some office.

Agreed, I said somewhere else how the game should be called "The inquisitor," it sounds better.

I prefer a last name.

Well, Hawke is also called the Champion, ferelden rat, and other things. I don't have any problem with NPCs using his/her surname. I think the best is to have that variety, specially if depending on how you play you can get different titles, or different surnames depending on your origin.

I like your idea,I'd love to hear people calling:The Inquisitor,My Origin surname and maybe a nickname defied by my deeds.

A surname in a single city makes sense because everyone is bound to know you if you go around making people explode. If DA3 spans several countries, or even just one country, then it wouldn't make sense for everyone to know your second name on the fly.
