Cmon give us the goss, only just found out about this and am interested to find out more, when was this announced?

Also I take it fixed race, voiced main, dialogue wheel are here to say but do we currently have any pics or a name for the Hero/Heroine?

I guess it is sort of funny, I do find myself interested in finding out more about this game not out of a geniune desire to play it but more out of curiousity as to just how big a trainwreck it will be. Ok perhaps that was a little harsh but you gotta admit Bioware and the Dragon Age team does have their work cut out for them in convincing the playerbase that they have what it takes to put out a respectable product, I will hear them out see what they have to offer but I cant honestly say that I have high expectations for this title.

I think Bioware Dragon age team is aware of their mistakes and EA knows they drove away 95% of Bioware community, they are carefull now, listening to fans and all.I think DA3 will be fantastic.Give them time to ask fans and to crystalise the idea of what they want to do with you 'Inquisitor'

That's an exaggeration. And Bioware has its faults for the problems with their last games.

Hmm, I am not going to count the game out yet but one of my biggest problems with the Dragon Age team is they dont really seem to know what they are doing, as if they are trying to recapture the glory of a past video game series yet have no idea as to what made it so great, the fact that they are looking to the fans for direction (who rarely know what they want from the game or what the game needs) only goes to further support that theory.

I believe Dragon Age II was a experiment to try something new that many didn't like. Now they know exactly what the fans want (generally a hybrid is consensus, despite a few on both sides) they have the chance to get this right. Plus for people who want good looking games they also have the frostbite 2 engine. I think they have a really good chance with this one.

Hmm I think we are forgetting that Dragon Age 2 dispite being poorly recieved did contain a lot of things that many of the fans wanted, whether or not this is a coincidence or whether it was the fans who influenced these decision I dont know but I do recall many fans asking for a lot of things like a protagonist that isnt special (IE no Dragonborn or chosen one with special powers ect), a plot that doesnt revolve around saving the world and same sex romances among other things that were all put in the game.

So no information other than a name and a leaked survey?

I must admit one part of the leaked survey did look interesting as if hinting at some sort of overworld strategy elements similar to the Total War games

Take the Inquisitor's cloak and lead the only force able of bringing light into the darkness. Choose the direct method and gather your armies, send spies into the shadows or engage in a political war, make friends and use your connections indirectly: it is up to you how you lead the inquisition. But you'll have to take lead of it from the beginning. Make your player a rogue, warrior or mage and set up your crew from up to ten complex companions to lead them against those who attack you by systematically spying on, revealing and destroying them

But then even if such rumours are true and this is indeed hinting at such elements can we really expect that such features will be fleshed out enough to make them interesting or will it just be some shallow gimmick tacked on to give the impression of depth of gameplay?
