most of you probably play dragon age on pc but my imagination was running a little wild when I thought about nintendos new console - Wii u

You could do pretty cool stuff with the extra control. I think of the tactical view of the battlefield, etc.

or maybe something completely different?

What do you think?

Its possible, didn't the company who is porting ME3 said that they have two Wii U titles 1 a new IP and the other a well known one? possibly DA3.

I personally am on the fence about getting a Wii U but if BioWare puts DA3 on it I will buy it. Make it happen please.

Think about being able to move party members around the battlefield on the second screen. Also it may have to be a simpler version on the small screen but also giving orders to your party via the second screen. If your mage having all your spells as icons on the touchscreen, oh it would be glorious!

Your codex entries when you read them show up on the second screen. Cutscene subtitiles could be on the gamepad.

To me there are so many possibilities with a second screen for a game like DA3.

I'd be happier than a pig with grilled cheese if even DA origins were on Wii u.

As long as the graphics are good on PC I don't care if they make a version for the WiiU. I just don't want them to make a game for the console with the worst graphics and release it on consoles that can do better.

Really? Aren't most non-platformer (Mario) or fighting (Smash Bros) on the Wii bad? If they can pull it off (which they probably won't), sure. I just don't want to see Dragon Age in any state that makes it seem bad.

I say go for it. The second screen would possibly mean a better interface than the PS3/360 counterparts.

The well known IP was Deus Ex: Human Revolution.  The Director's Cut was announced for Wii U a few weeks a go.

I'd rather have the whole series on Wii U than just DA3. Wouldn't that make save importing mute if they just did DA3 after all?

I don't own a Wii U, but I think the gamepad has potential. It could contain both hotkeys and a tactical zoomed out view, albeit with 2D sprites if the engine is too demanding.

The entire Mass Effect trilogy would also have provided a boon to the current small game library on the Wii U. The problem is that EA and Nintendo have had a falling out and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii U is left out in the cold. If DA3 is for next gen consoles, this won't bode well since the Wii U's power is comprable if not a bit stronger than the current-gen 360/PS3.

Why would any triple A developer would want to develop games for the Wii U? It's monthly sales are much lower than the XBOX 360, which is a 7 year old console that is about to become all but obselete in a matter of months...

The Wii U is stuck in limbo due to Nintendo poor planning: People aren't buying it because it doesn't have alot of titles, and game companies aren't making games for it because people aren't buying it...

ME3 Wii U sales are barely 1%(!) of the game total sales. EA/Bioware would have to be insane to release another game on that console. The only hope for WiiU owners are indie developers.

Other than a few exceptions, no it does not.  And given its sales numbers, I don't expect it will even get many more of those.
