Every two weeks or so Larry Hyrb at Majornelson.com publishes a list of an upcoming week's marketplace products and he did so yesterday.  Mass Effect DLC is unfortunately NOT listed as coming to the marketplace from 9/19-9/25 whereas previous DLCs have shown up on this list.  Can something change in the next few days?  It's possible as he does mention following his twitter account for updates but that seems unlikely.  The good news is that patches are not mentioned so hopefully we will get one of those in the next few days.

edit:  Bioware's Chris Priestly confirms the above as true on page 2.

That's because PC payed for exclusive DLC rights for the next two weeks.

Or something.

Basically, that thing that microsoft does, but for computers! Yeah!

Pretty sure thats accurate, though I do wonder what Chris Priestly refered to when he said this week would be busy.

Too bad, I always get in a good mood when anything Mass Effect related is announced. Guess next thing for me will be XCOM: Mass Effect... Or was it called something else?

To be honest, I was surprised that most users on this forum assumed (almost right after the Earth DLC, too) that there would be another dlc. I know that there was a vague hint from a mod or two, but I still didn't think another DLC would necessarily happen.

The Earth DLC seemed kinda final. In SP, Earth is the "final" area, which kinda makes me wonder if the Earth DLC is the final DLC as well.

There has also been no "leaks" of information about an upcoming DLC. And not to be the 1,000,000 person talking about Borderlands, but you would have thought that they would have dropped a DLC before big releases stop cropping up and eating their userbase.

I don't think it's going to happen. I hope it does, but my fingers are no longer crossed.

Looks like it. Or even if then. Major bummer.

Think I'm going to leave Mass Effect behind for awhile, maybe check back in a month and hope for better times =3

Lol, thanks!  I signed up here with the ME3 release and was a bit surprised it was taken.

My guess would be that they were talking about the new Dragon Age game's unveiling which happened yesterday.  ME3 isn't the *only* game they're working on.  :)  The press released a bunch of news about that previously undetailed game.

Probably in reference to the official Dragon Age 3: Inquisition announcement they made yesterday and the brand new forum for it they opened. Chris has been quite busy over there trying to establish and maintain order, and whacking trolls with hammers of justice and whatnot.

I =love= ME3 MP.  But ME3 MP versus XCOM: Enemy Unknown dropping on the 9th?  Dishonored dropping on the 9th as well?  Sorry, BDubs!  But I'll get back to you in November/December.  :):):)

Lol, what?!

It has been confirmed in multiple ways that there'll be more multiplayer DLCs.
It's not a rumor and we don't know when, but if you check Priestly's twitter page you'll find at least 4/5 tweets that say that there are more DLCs planned for both SP and MP.

Or, you can check the Comic Con conference, when they said the same thing.

Now we can suppose that the next DLC will be in October, but what we're sure of is that no, Earth wasn't the final DLC for MP.

It says "some" of the upcoming content coming soon. So there's still a chance, of course.

*Technically* the Priestly tweet (or was it Fagnan... can't recall) that hinted at multiplayer DLC still can be correct despite the majornelson list. There is an almost full week in September after the list ends. I was just hoping that ME3 would get one last big hurrah of playtime on my friends list as people did reliably come back for a few weeks everytime a DLC dropped. From the general sentiment amongst my friends and their comments about getting 96.5% more WUB WUB for the forseeable future (and even a few trading in ME3 to do so), I'm not so sure it'll happen again.

I have predicted the next MP DLC for mid-October, right when we did not get one at the start of September. The reason for my prediction is simple: so far they followed a regular schedule of releasing DLCs 49 days apart.

That time-frame was due at the beginning of September, and that's when they released Leviathan -- the first SP DLC. So they kept their DLC release cycle, but instead of a new MP DLC we got an SP one. So I am expecting the next DLC to follow the schedule and arrive on the next drop-date: October 23.

Next week is not "End of September." Leviathan dropped Aug 29th.

Try again around the weekend.

DLC is released on Tuesday. Sep. 25th is the last Tuesday of September.

I don't understand why they don't just tell us what the next DLC will be...This secret mystery act has gotten rather tiresome and with new titles dropping they need to at least throw us a bone until the DLC drops

Interesting website...

Have to admit I'm surprised that ME mp is still in the top 20 of most played games on live.
http://majornelson.c...k-of-august-27/

For only 1 mode multiplayer, Bioware and EA must be happily surprised in its legs...

re: No comments
As mentioned in the other thread, until it has been certified, Bioware is not even going to HINT at it. Sucks, but them's the breaks I guess

The list includes September 25th, which is the last date when a Bioware DLC can be released in this month; so, even if September doesn't end next Tuesday, there won't be any ME3 DLC next week, unless is something not put on the list for some reason( hard to believe..).
