Not to worry, something will be out after you're bored of Borderlands, or whatever tickles your fancy this month.

As a matter of fact, I propose a Mass Effect holiday. Everybody take a break from Mass Effect for a while. Will make things a lot more fresh when content DOES arrive, and it may change our opinions on things. Just a suggestion, of course.

I've been doing this as of late. took a break for a few weeks and find myself longing for a game or two lately. Its a good feeling wanting to play again and not just to grind for something.

I get the feeling this thread will be locked.

Also @goldfinger reported for harassment.

Honestly, I'm kind of surprised by where ME3 still ranks...Think about how many MP-specific games have been released and yet one mode MPis still in the top 20.

I fully admit that when ME3 was announced with MP I thought it would crash and burn...at best I thought it would be like your typical MP game. Shows up for one week to at best a  month on the top 20 chart and then quickly drops off. and disappears.

Frankly, that's the fate of MOST game (95% at least). Most games with MP are NOT Call of Duty or Battlefield or Halo in terms of MP appeal. (Honestly, I wish more developers would be happy with having decent sales and not trying to retool always looking for monster numbers - Yes, I'm looking at you  NCsoft - City of Heroes)

This. I had fully expected the MP to be tacked on garbage that no one would be playing 2 months after release, just sales fluff to sell more titles.

It blew my expectations to smithereens. Its good, but the lasting power it *has* had blew my expectations again.

It has no right to be on that list but still is.

It's not really a leak if the head of the regional studio talks about it publicly in an official announcement... it's more of a press release.  Leaks are the cool things we got earlier with pictures and details.

Honestly, I'm not sure I believe we would be notified or not. It seems more and more developers believe secrecy is the holy grail to more sales. They don't tell us anything about what the DLC contains and then expects us to buy it (Leviathin comes to mind).  It's why I never bought Leviathin. I said screw it, if you don't believe in your product enough to let me know what I'm buying, I'm not going to buy it; It's pretty bad that I have to watch youtube videos to see what is in the DLC. 

It's not just you guys it's everyone.

No, but if you read the retirement thing from aaron flynn, you'll see that they did indeed say that there'd be some more MP dlc coming out soon, and confirmation of Mass Effect: Omega.

Have to agree with this. People seem very distraught over the lack of new content. Just take a holiday from Mass Effect for a month and come back and check if there is anything new then =)

Should they rather have spoilered the whole story of Leviathan? Because, you know, that's what you're asking here... They put out a trailer, which isn't completely standard for a DLC, and a blog pretty much covering what you could expect without spoilering too much. Just as they have done with pretty much any DLC in the past.

Myth Busted!

Can we stop assuming immediately that they are lying? Or at least say it more politely than: "They are lying! DLC is coming! I bet you it is!", it doesn't bode well for developer interest in talking with us when they are immediately called a liars by persons completely uninvolved. We got our own hopes up for nothing. End of story.
