Bioware did say they were going to do the best of both games, I will wait to the games released for my final decision but so far its looking like the best of DA2 and the best of well DA2 not an Origin system in sight.
This. I did find it a bit odd that they were so fast to announce DA2 features, yet every Origins feature that has been brought up is shot down with "maybe" or "never".

Last time fans started recording promises it turned up ugly for ME3.
I thought it was the Other way around.. ME3 turned ugly for the fans.
I do hope Bioware is listening and no, am not biting, "your choices matters" or "choices that matter" matters to whom? i wonder.
is bioware thinking of people like me who wants to be something more than humans? time will tell.

Everyone is being awfully careful, The fans and the Devs alike, it's like a keg that about to go up in flames.

Undoubtedly this will lead to a lot of the opposite sort of complaint - that they're simply not showing enough. That's fair, but they must think it's better to have a slower trickle of information at first as long as everything they're showing us folks is, in fact, 'real'. Perhaps they feel their work speaks for itself, and they want to make sure that they're at a point where they can show us things in context that allows them to speak for themselves.

Don't get me wrong, their past few games have been great and successful GAMES. However, they have been horrible RPGS.
I started playing Bioware games when they came out with Kotor and the immersive storyline was beautiful. Since then I have played Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age:origins, and Mass Effect 1 with that same sense of emotional connection and beauty.
However their most recent games (ME2&3, DA2, SWTOR) have all felt like rushed rip-offs. Honestly they are breaking my heart with how they are moving away from the style of game I loved so dear.
So my wishlist for DA3 is that they return to their roots. Last chance to show me that this company can still make a decent RPG. If not there is always Obsidian's Project Eternity...

I suck at patience, I'm desperately waiting for pretty pictures to ogle.
Just keep thinking about how DA2 and ME3 turned out and patience will follow. Learn to FEAR new information, CRINGE in terror as the release date approaches, listen to nothing announced in advance and everything will turn out fine
If you keep badgering the devs they will get annoyed again and then you will get NO dungeons or towns, not even one!
Give them time and many dungeons/towns will follow

Along with Wasteland 2 and Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition.

One of the reasons we all want more information about the game, is because what we've gotten so far has been so awesome. Patience is a virtue, and I'm fine with the go-slow approach. I like a great deal what we've been given so far, it's pretty awesome stuff, and that's why I, and everybody else here, is looking forward to future details, whenever they might arrive. We got a lot of details well before DAO came out, that made it obvious it was going to be an amazing game. We also got a lot of details well before DA2 came out, that basicly made us want to believe that the game would be great despite what we were hearing. So far, there's been no need to engage in that kind of wishful thinking, the details we're heard, and the screenshots we've seen, all point in the same direction, the direction that the DAO info gave us, that we're in for a truly amazing game. So long as the details we get keep pointing in that direction, I have no problem waiting as long as it takes to get that extra information. Keep up the great work!
I am glad that you are happy with the information you have gotten, but I am not so happy with Bioware announcing the DA2 features they are bringing back but no Origins information.
Bioware says they cant say anything about Origin features that are returning incase they cant implement them which is ok but why can they then confirm DA2 features that are returning.
When Bioware says they want the best of both games but only seem to have features from DA2 it makes me wonder what Bioware considers the best of both games.
