I need 85 more UR drops to max them out..
It feels hopeless really and maybe that's why I stopped playing so much. It isn't reasonable goal to achieve. It just feels out of reach. Dropping ammo when I'm even trying to get gear... and uncommon gear too.
So I know there are threads like this every day.
But 85 URs at 5-8% drop rate just seems silly.
Lol so how many do you need?
So I just check my manifest and...

Still missing that PPR, never got one since Earth and any UR I'm getting from PSPs seem to be Wraiths and Black Widows or Paladins.

39. To think the next DLC will add more is depressing.

29 unlocks left for me.
I honestly don't know if I'll be able to max it out before I move on to a new game. Ever since the number has gotten smaller, the less hopeful I got, weird huh? Just got to keep the faith, I guess. Last UR I got was Saber V a few hours ago.

If you want gear, try buying SPs instead of PSPs. I've been getting gear nearly every pack buying SPs. Seems like the fourth item in the pack is an uncommon gear slot. This is replaced by a rare 'everything' slot in PSPs which seems to make it harder to get gear.
If you want URs you're probably better with PSPs though.

I've gotten into the idea of playing not for the drops, but for trying out all of the ways to play the game, even totally unconventional. The ammo consumables can also help for Gold Solo runs. Though I would much rather have a second, third fourth or fifth PPR right now.
I saw an N7 level 230 or so the other day with a PPR III. I was dumbfounded by the sheer luck of this N7 Carl.

At least ten more, depending on how many more DLCs are released.

It's approximately 10%, give or take 5% both ways, because no one really knows with PSPs. I suggest getting lots of those. I personally have seen about 10%, too, so I can't disagree with the statistic.
More commonly agreed upon those who have tested (correctly, not pretend statistics that inflate or deflate the number through poor methods) claim 14.5% with PSPs, and < 10% with SPs.

I've been saying this unlock system was awful since the demo. It's ridiculous to think that after 6 months of playing 95% of the community doesn't even have 1 UR maxed and the percentage that have them all maxed is less that 1.
Few maps against the same 3 boring enemies with the only reason to keep playing is for a chance to unlock something good. No guarantees, just a chance. It's like running a marathon and pulling the lever on a slot machine to see which place you get.
All other good non-MMO MP games use progressive unlocks or a credit system that allows you to buy specifically what you want. Who thought of this piece of **** system? It's not even smart for making money selling packs since no one smart will spend more than a few bucks on packs when the drop rate is the same with in-game credits or real money.
