I'm at the beginning of what I'm calling a role-playthrough of the whole
Mass Effect Trilogy. In it, I basically add written dialogue and tailor a
couple of new "scenes" to flesh out the gameplay and make it into
something more than just footage of somebody playing.

I'm interested in understanding Jacob and Miranda's past a bit better. Jacob seems bothered about their past at the end of his loyalty mission. It always made me curious about why he said "Miranda deserves a better man". What happened there? How did she tie into his relationship with his father? More specifically, how Miranda acquired the location of the Hugo Gernsback?

I'd love to get some ideas from the community on how/why they broke up and how could we flesh out their history together.

well, their story is so open in terms of canon material that you could pretty much take it anywhere you wanted to. something like jacob questioning miranda's loyalty to cerberus could be one of the reasons behind their falling out

do you intend to make videos like that for the entire three games?
