Today, BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuck have announced they are retiring from BioWare. Both have written blogs to discuss their retirement – click HERE for Ray’s and click HERE for Greg’s.

Please join us in wishing them all the best in the future. Also, Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of BioWare Edmonton & Montreal shares his thoughts about Ray and Greg and what is coming up for BioWare HERE.

This is shocking.

I wish the best of luck to both Ray and Greg, and also to all the people at Bioware.

Sad to see them go. They are amazing people and they gave a lot of people (myself included) amazing opportunities.

Greg has set the bar very, very high for retirement, though. Drinking beer around the world? That is pretty amazing.

Sad to see them go.

It does take a lot of guts to look past your field and venture forth into the unknown for your passion. I believe Ray and Greg have redefined game storytelling; they managed to prove that video games can be as powerful as other forms of media.

I wish them luck in their future endeavors, whatever it is they wish to pursue next.
