I don't hope that it will be anything.... I know that it will be garbage unless it is a direct sequel to ME4 in which Shepard wakes up in London. Those endings are so horrendous that I simply cannot bear to play a prequel. And why the hell would I play a distant sequel made by these guys. It seems to me that their artistic integrity is more important than their fans. I take that back though, if Shepard wakes up in London.
Good luck to all of you who support these guys. I'll be moving on to other gaming companies but I'll watch and see what they do with ME4. I'm not getting my hopes up. And, yes, I agree with those points Clarkus.

Here's my idea of where you should go next... pick up where Mass Effect 3 left off with Shepard waking up from the indoctrination attempt. Make the destroy ending canon. Do that and Bioware will be remembered forever. If you don't do that, I wouldn't expect strong sales.
Canonize not just the Destroy ending, but IT? Yeah, right.

You are a frontline soldier. You can choose your race (as long as it's human shaped), your face (it will be constantly under a helmet), and your name (no one will call you anything but 'soldier')... The universe is yours to explore (you will go exactly where we drop you and shoot who we say)...

Glad Casey is still leading it. He has run a great trilogy. Shame the end 20 minutes overshadows much of his accomplishments over a 150 hour journey. He knows the game and bringing a new Project Lead with their "artistic direction" wont be good. Complain all you want about that comment, Casey will have learnt a lot from the experience and wont want it to happen again. No one else I would rather have.
As for lead writer... I havent been convinced with Mac so far. He is far to keen to write his comics and game plots that tread dangerously over established ideals which I can only see as damaging.

"Also. I am playing ME3:Omega today again. It is phenomenal."
Prolly as "phenomenal" as Leviathan...so not.
And another ME game? Seems like EA just can't stop trying to milk the ME franchise for all its still worth. Not surprising.

While I may not be overly happy with Casey after the ending , I know that giving the Mass Effect IP over to someone else would be a grave mistake. Perhaps if we gave it to someone who had been there since the beginning, like Weekes, but overall, I totally agree there. (Also, he was behind KotOR, and that game is awesome!)
I think Mac is more to blame for the lackluster quality of the overal ME3 metaplot. The parts that were awesome weren't written by him (at least not exclusively), and he was responsible for bringing it all together and tying it off with a neat bow. That didn't happen. He should go back to smaller scale.

My suggestion: go for Red while you still can, allow us to get what we want for ME3. And Build a new story ! Simple.

Hudson needs to become the new VP, no question about it. It's the only way to save BW and Mass Effect.

Not to start bashing the Extended Cut, it was needed and greatly appreciated, but that took away from the original DLC development timeline. Could that timeline be extended past a full year post release date?
