+500 Years is fine, [...] Liara are still alive

This reason alone is why ME4 needs to be set at least 1000 years after ME3, to amke sure Liara won't appear again. Honestly, seriously, there's been more than enough of her in the Trilogy

Is the "throughout the next six months" set in stone? Or could we still see DLC released after the six month time period.

Not to start bashing the Extended Cut, it was needed and greatly appreciated, but that took away from the original DLC development timeline. Could that timeline be extended past a full year post release date?

I hope so. I really want to see the Raloi and Virtual Aliens.

AND I WANT DINOSAUR DLC!!!

Casey is overseeing the new IP? Uhhhhhh, not sure if that's a good idea.

Casey oversaw Mass Effect 1.

just because it has his name on it, doesn't mean it's going to suck.

that's like saying you hate Fez because of Phil Fish. Art Over Artists, 100% of the time.

if we head back to the galactic core and we didnt blow everything up.. you think we might be able to give the quarians some of those hundreds of ships we saw drifting in space? you know.. resources and everything..?
and what about a female prothean survivor for javik.. last i saw of him he was talking like the world was going to end or something.. he said he was going outside for a while.... that was quite a while ago..hmmmmmm ... hey....wheres my gun?

I hope Mass Effect doesn't turn into a side project on BioWare because of the new IP they're developing.

But in the same time I'm curious to see what a new team can do with the franchise.

Fall? That spring in the southern hemisphere, right? Excellent, I had no idea we'd be getting this so soon. Can't bloody wait, although it does worry me that only one SP DLC was mentioned there...

NO pointless PREQUELS! WE ALREADY know WHAT HAPPENS!

Yeah I say they should make the Destroy ending canon and do a story in the future with completely new characters.

I actually really want a (story-driven!!!!) Mass Effect game set during The First Contact War against the Turians. If they do it right, they could make an excellent story-driven narrative about humans finding out about their galactic neighborhood and discovering what biotics can do.

I've got a sinking ( or hopeful? ) feeling that this will be a pure shooter taking place during Priority: Earth. It could work if it uses your ME3 saves to tell the stories of your team, your assets, and your decisions to influence the battles/set pieces. And... If it showed the effects of your decision in greater detail, like "we found Shepard in this rubble". But... More than likely, we will be playing just James and his squad, unfortunately.

Or both.

From watching panels and such on Youtube, it looks like they are good friends, and they do some of the best writing in the series. Hell, they wrote the Mordin confrontation together, a personal highlight for me. It's clear that they can do great work together, why don't they have those two as lead writers for the new game.

not me... I know better than to expect nearly the same quality as ME/ME2 from these two (EA, BIOWARE) again..

They raped the series in 5 minutes, gave us a free slideshow DLC that ignored the majority of the requests from the majority of the fanbase, and effectively told the fanbase to screw off because art.

Not spending another penny on this series.

Before March this would have made my week. But sorry if I have to be another guy who lost faith in Bioware after the empty promises of ME3.

You seem to be forgetting that Hudson was also project lead on ME1 and ME2. Don't write it off so soon.
