It will be good if they combine all 3 games in 1.
From :
Mass Effect 1 - The world full of planets? when you can "land" and explore all of them.
Mass Effect 2 - System of upgrades (wich need reagents)
Mass Effect 3 - Battle System, cover system, quests (like find some arthefact that can be found on a planet surface like in ME1)
As a new - System of Space Battle (don't wanna runaway everytime). There can be new research of Normandy and all fleet Armour/shields (Reaper tehnology).

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

I would love if they took the main character's rank down a bit and making him have to pilot many times :P Being in the Normandy was cool... but flying a ship?

That's the best.

I agreed that you were right about the assault rifle. However, you're wrong about tanks and Howitzers/cannons.

Where are you from? I'm from Russia and knew what i'm talking about. Our tank in the begining of WW2 was old junk
Only KV (Klim Voroshilov) can fight with german tank and only because he was heavy armored (they just can't hit it with theyr low coliber cannon's). They build new tanks with 88mm cannons that kill every tank they shoot.
Russian make IS/IS2 (Iosif Stallin) heavy tank with angle placed armore plates and with cannon 122mm. First tank with that tehnology was famous T-34 (midle tank, he fight well too). I can tell you more an more there was many researches complete during the war.... grenades... bombs... planes... submorines... First Bodyarmour with Titane plastines inside (wight 90 kg) there was a squad of atletic russian soldiers that test it on battlefield. Gernas have Hearth atack when they fire whole ammo clip right in front on enemy and they go like nothing hapen. I can talk long

It doesn't matter where I'm from. The first tank was created in WWI, and cannons have existed longer than that.
Also, planes and submarines also were created in WWI.

in WW1 standart of anti-tank cannons was 57mm when in WW2 apired new heavy tanks that was like moscito bite for them. Thats why they research new cannons that can "kill the tank".

You knew how much new weapon was create in World War II?  first Tanks, Cannons, Assault Rifle, first Rocket engine, first Atomic bomb.

That's not what you said originally. I agree that the golden age for tanks was WWII, but not when they were first made. And to satisfy your curiosity, I'm from the United States of America.

Yes i was mistake write "first" against "new". Thats not the point... The point is about giant break trough in rasearch of new types of technics and weapons during the war. Remember ME2 intro movie remember how collectors ship blow up Normandia by single shoot? What they do on Normandy SR2? Right they research new type of difence, new type of weapon, engine etc.

I feel we misunderstood each other. I was only trying to correct you about when the first of what you listed were made. I agree that warfae speeds up the invention process. As the old saying goes, "War is the father of all invention."

That would be terrible and clearly not what bioware intends.

That will be great! Those who don't like that theory = don't like to think. (If you don't knew what i'm talking about see it first).
About new weapons and armours... In all wars science research new weapons, armour, etc, You knew how much new weapon was create in World War II? Tanks, Cannons, first Assault Rifle, first Rocket engine, first Atomic bomb.
Or you think in ME world all science dumb and can't find a way to evade reaper shields/armour?

Wrong. IMO those that do think to much. I liked the original endings because you had to think and draw your own conclusion the IT is terrible.

So is Omega going to basically you helping Aria (UGH!) get her hell pit omega back from Illusive Man and his forces? That's about as interesting as throwing a rock at the ground. Truly. Sounds like a long mission that is battle based and probably pretty boring unless you like battles. Can't wait to read what people say about it once they've played it. Considering the price and the time it will probably take to download it given it's so huge, I can't imagine buying it unless they've done some really interesting stuff with it beyond fighting to take back Omega because Aria sucks and Omega is a hell pit that that Illusive man can have. Truly. Can't imagine how it would be interesting. Trying. But nope. Can't see anything but fights that are same old stuff only now I have to deal with Aria. Yuck.

Has that been officially confirmed? If it is going to be that linear that's extremely disappointing and will probably convince me it is time to uninstall the game. DLC that expensive and a setting that is set up to provide the player a choice over Omega's future, Aria's future and Petrovsky's future and yet it seems they don't have the inclination to follow through on it.

Confirmed? No. But I can't see anything that they could do to make it more than that. We're talking about Aria, hell pit Omega and Cerberus which was always pretty much straight out fights. We might learn why he took omega. Probably get a little more insight into his agenda if that. But everything cerberus was involved in was pure fights. To deviate from that would require creativity I don't believe exists at BW regarding ME at this point. I'm guessing it's more of a DLC to cater to people who are still invested in the trilogy which mostly are the people who love the fighting aspect.

I'll wait till I read LOTS of feedback, but given that leviathan gave no real choices and even the From Ashes gave none, this one can't possibly be different, especially if it's going to effect the game on whole which it can't beyond a few changes in conversation right? So ultimately, it really can't be more than elaborate fights, probably on par with Arrival where you had no choice in the end.

Personally, I think it's going to be geared for players that want a long DLC with a lot of fighting since there have been a lot of requests for that and the focus has been on that. Heck, that's mostly what ME3 was.

Can you imagine it actually giving choices? Particularly given Leviathan gave NONE.

What you want from game? This is 3rd Person Shooter with elements of RPG this is not RPG with elements of Shooter...  BW saying about DLC's that they not change the ending, they give you +to galaxy army power, and how it was in ME2 some DLC will  affect for some things it furter game chapter. Like Kasumi Goto or Zaeed Massani.
And... why you so unlike Aria? I Think i'f in ME4 will be shepard again then Aria may do some "extra help" if you complete Omega DLC in ME3.

I'll still hold out hope that given Omega is perfectly set up to offer player choice over the standalone fate of Omega that they won't be stupid enough to produce a railroaded linear shoot cerberus mooks as Aria's lapdog affair. Not saying i don't fear what you say is true though.

No she's a vicious dictator. I want choices rather than being railroaded into being her lapdog. Petrovsky as charactwerised in the comics is someone i have much more time for.

Almost none of the ME dlcs have ever given you choices, only told a story. The only dlcs which gave you the option of choices were Bring Down The Sky and Zaeed's loyalty mission and the ending of Overlord, but that's about it. Even the LoTSB which is claimed to be the best ME dlc by many was as linear as it could get.

I think she is some secret agent of Azari. She was Azari-Commandos. I think she take Omega under contol for monitoring information about pirates/blue suns/eclipse/blood pack etc. Ofcource she must play role of "Bad Boss". Yes She is not silly girl like Liara but she is not bad as you think. She didn't ordered you ti kill turian general she tell you to "deal with that problem" remember?

Lack of choice was a definite weakness of LOTSB but could be justified in that they wanted to set up Liara's role for ME3. There's zero reason why they need to railroad players in Omega. Shep's story is done, it  can't effect the ending but what it can do is effect Omega's fate.

Image IPB So we have more DLC other than Omega for ME3, a new ME game, and a new IP.  Nice, but the new IP is what coined to 2016?
