So is Omega going to basically you helping Aria (UGH!) get her hell pit omega back from Illusive Man and his forces? That's about as interesting as throwing a rock at the ground. Truly. Sounds like a long mission that is battle based and probably pretty boring unless you like battles. Can't wait to read what people say about it once they've played it. Considering the price and the time it will probably take to download it given it's so huge, I can't imagine buying it unless they've done some really interesting stuff with it beyond fighting to take back Omega because Aria sucks and Omega is a hell pit that that Illusive man can have. Truly. Can't imagine how it would be interesting. Trying. But nope. Can't see anything but fights that are same old stuff only now I have to deal with Aria. Yuck.
Has that been officially confirmed? If it is going to be that linear that's extremely disappointing and will probably convince me it is time to uninstall the game. DLC that expensive and a setting that is set up to provide the player a choice over Omega's future, Aria's future and Petrovsky's future and yet it seems they don't have the inclination to follow through on it.
Confirmed? No. But I can't see anything that they could do to make it more than that. We're talking about Aria, hell pit Omega and Cerberus which was always pretty much straight out fights. We might learn why he took omega. Probably get a little more insight into his agenda if that. But everything cerberus was involved in was pure fights. To deviate from that would require creativity I don't believe exists at BW regarding ME at this point. I'm guessing it's more of a DLC to cater to people who are still invested in the trilogy which mostly are the people who love the fighting aspect.
I'll wait till I read LOTS of feedback, but given that leviathan gave no real choices and even the From Ashes gave none, this one can't possibly be different, especially if it's going to effect the game on whole which it can't beyond a few changes in conversation right? So ultimately, it really can't be more than elaborate fights, probably on par with Arrival where you had no choice in the end.
Personally, I think it's going to be geared for players that want a long DLC with a lot of fighting since there have been a lot of requests for that and the focus has been on that. Heck, that's mostly what ME3 was.
Can you imagine it actually giving choices? Particularly given Leviathan gave NONE.
