my question is: why make new game when old one is not finished? me3 was obviously rushed and so much content left out, so much story from me1 and 2 turned into numbers. I imagine what would PR theme be for part 4 - "THIS time You we will deliver a complete game"? what more can they promise and deliver if 90% of what they said pre-me3 was just bs? sorry but i just dont see any future for this franchise

So, for the Omega DLC, does anyone else want to see Aria as a squadmate? Maybe she could introduce some powers like Ballistic Blades and Submission Net to single player. Just a thought.

I've wanted that for quite a while. It'd be a lot like Liara in LotSB.

Agreed. Finish ME3 before moving on to something else. I've no interest in another half-hearted cash grab.

This is quite fundamental right now considering how much flak Bioware has taken. However, we shouldn't forget that they are in the hands of EA who calls the shots.

Potentially, but ideas on very broad things we'd like to see in a new IP (genre, etc) might be something useful for the dev teams and writers.

I don't agree at all. ME 3 was complete except the ending needed to be fleshed out more which they fixed. Everything else was fine I definitely disagree about the story bits.

I think the Omega DLC might come out around Halo 4. Like how they did with the last DLC.

Me too. People need to learn how to put their hatred for the endings under control.
Sure the game has some problems (N7 mission or the excess of fetch quests) but saying that everything was bad with the story is simply wrong.

Yes indeed. Aaryn Flynn did confirm that Omega will be the next Single Player DLC. We'll have more DLC info in the coming weeks. Aaryn also confirmed we are making a new IP (not ME related obviously) and a new Mass Effect game.

It is FAR too early to talk about what this game is or what it will be about. It was only really mentioned because we know that some people will assume that with Ray & Greg leaving BioWare we'll be closing and not making more games. This is, of course, not true. We have Dragon Age 3 Inquisition in the works, more single and multiplay DLC in teh works for ME3, a new game coming in teh Mass Effect franchise and a new IP. Lots of good stuff still to come and when we can fill you in with details, we will. Stay tuned.

I also read baout a new game. Now THIS I am super duper mega excited about.

Just really jupmed in at the end here, but has anyone thought that we've already been given a taste of the antagonists fot ME4 - The Leviathan - remember what they said to Shep? As they were used to the galaxy paying them tribute, won't they want that again? It's natural story progression, take out The Big Bad, only to discover there's another, more powerful, their 'daddy' for want of a better word.
Just my idea.

I also see some discussion about reapers and ending in ME3 etc. Keep in mind that we have been flying around in the Milky Way Galaxy, and as far as we know there are about 100 to 200 billion galaxies in the Universe, each of which has hundreds of billions of stars. Not even calculating multiverses ;D Why would there be only one universe when there are so many planets, stars and galaxies? So a new ME story doesn't have to be from the Milky Way, it could be from another Galaxy far, far away without reapers and most likely with other races as well (?). What I mean is that they don't have to build the story around Shepard and the reapers, you can actually start from scratch here if you want to.

What do you mean "finish ME3 first?" It's finished! It's coded, packaged, sent to retailers.

Even patches have been made and DLCs uploaded with more to come. It's definitely time to start another game!
