Probably neither! New character, new story, new trilogy, same universe - and same RPG mechanism, I'd imagine.CaptainTeabag wrote...
So Casey wants to make another Mass Effect game. A full one at that. I wonder if he means a spinn-off FPS or another chapter to Shepherds story?
And it'd almost certainly be set before the events of ME3. Some of us have destroyed the Earth, some of us have killed all the geth or all the quarians, some of us have cured the genophage, some of us have a universe full of circuit-skinned cyborgs - these are the kinds of decision you can only make at the end of a game. ME4, as I'm guessing it won't be called, would be an absolute clusterf--k.
Not that it matters! That's a discussion for a few years down the line. In the meanwhile - more multiplayer DLC! And Omega!! Whoo, etc.
Borderlands 2 is already out! Today would be the lowest ebb - the highest concentration of people on BL2 - and it's basically fine.mcjihge2 wrote...
Any MP DLC that is released from now will be too little too late. With Borderlands 2, Assassins creed 3 and Halo 4, players will migrate away from ME3 MP. This last 6 months has been good though. I should imagine the strategy is to release MP DLC to entice players away from the above games, but that wont work. MP numbers will dramatically fall off in the next few months. I think that they would have been better releasing any MP DLC that they might be sitting on, last week as a last thank you to the community before the majarity disbands.

Only if they recruit another writing team.
As for Omega, "Here's your station back Aria but we're all dead anyway, oh well..."
[/quote]
Who's dead? Unless you choose the Refusal path, where you just stand there and let the reapers destroy everything, then you save the galaxy.

I do like the multiple classes thing. They could do it like Dragon Age Origins, set before humanity joined the council. Instead of Dwarf, Elf and Human, they could do Asari, Salarian and Turian.Ziegrif wrote...

But you don't save Omega, it's a space station dependant on the mass relay for food and supplies. Even supposing they can fix the relays, the citizens of Omega would likely starve to death before help came.

I'm finding it real hard to host a U/U/S match and get any randoms to show up these days. Which is odd but probably related to what you're saying. Oh well.
The best part is that I decided to go it alone, get to the start of wave six (PD slayer) annnnnnnnnnnnnd CRASH. WOo HOo!

Never. Here is what's going to happen:
- Horrible explanation why Shepard's favorite color means ****.
- Create canon future with dead Batarians, dead Geth and dead Drell. Maybe Hanar and Elcor, too.
- Create new hawt aliens.
- Liara still lives and will romance Neo-Shepard. Not optional.
- Create new Tali, Garrus, Wrex etc.
- Leviathans try to overtake Milky Way.
Enemies are practically the same, their methods are pratically the same. Your squad is the same. The story will be cut short and we'll get some awesome FPS action scenes and a PvP multiplayer that steals ideas from Black Ops II.
That will be my rant for today.

Of course, as long as they learn from ME3 and take the fans into consideration for their new games.

That'd be excellent. have it happen 300 years post-Rachni wars after the ramp up to and start of the Krogan Rebellions, with you fighting for the citadel council. No medi-gel (humans brought that into council space), friendly batarians on the citadel, and unmasked quarians with their friendly geth VI servants.

Good find. I am skeptical about more ME games. Even if they don't relate to Shepard, they have to be really careful so that the amazing fictional universe that ME is doesn't become a dead franchise by trying to milk it dry. What made all the ME games so good was how long they took to develop them. They are incredibly in-depth. If they make more games, please Bioware, don't try to make as many as possible just to make a buck, please take time and make them as amazing as ME1. I would not mind another set of trilogies from ME with a totally different cast; pre or post Shepard. They just really have to take their time and make them amazing!
Um, like Star Trek?

For someone called "Happy Shepard," you're doing a pretty good job of getting enraged about a game you've just made up.Happy Shepard wrote...

Omega has lots of interesting possibilities. A romance with Aria! As Joker would say, "Hang on, this is going to be a wild ride!" And this gives maps for MP as well as maybe new enemy types. Hanar, Vorcha, and Elcor Reapers. Volus reapers that waddle up to you and explode like grenades. Put on your idea caps, don't let them get so dusty just because some UR sucks.
Edit: If the Citadel can be moved, why not move the Omega station?

I wouldn't mind that. She was too friendly in ME3. It was...out of character, imo. She wasn't scary enough to be around x]
