I can't tell you where I got this information but here are profiles for the dragon age 3 companions...

Wilfred Gregory, a dark, brooding Templar, Wilfred's unbelievably handsome, but he's broken and needs you as the player to save him from himself, he's also funny, shy, confident, arrogant, insecure and so forth.

Conman Shepardo, a tribute to Mass Effects Commander Shepard, he's an Antivan pirate with questionable gender.

Talia & Anna, two voluptuous twins. Not much character.

Gimpy, a mysterious mage, who as the name suggests wares a gimp mask.

Edgar Anorak, often called EA he's a small, twisted creature who's one love in life is Money.

Susan Tickle, you can tickle her, I assume.

Jane the Qunari, as you might imagine, she's a Qunari.

War-Dan, a dark-spawn with a passion for life, music and love.

Ben, he's just Ben.

Also with Release Day DLC gain the Old God Balthazar as a companion!!!!

On a serious note, if the Maker does actually step down and talk - or even a powerful entity that claims to be the Maker (maybe the Maker as the Chantry preaches does not truly exists) - it had BETTER be voiced by Morgan Freeman. There is NO OTHER OPTION.
