It's been confirmed that David Gaider will be a super optional boss later in the game. From what I understand he hits like a truck and has a spell called "Passive Aggressiveness" which casts Beserk on all party members.

Geralt will be a major NPC in the game, and if your Inquisitor is female, she will automatically attempt to romance him no matter which dialogue option you choose. If you somehow manage to avoid talking to him, Ezio will appear during a mission and will also auto-romance your female Inquisitor.

1730. At the end of the game, the big reveal will be that Commander Shepard was responsible for the Veil Tear. He or she chose Synthesis and has emerged into Thedas as a Fade spirit. Shepard's only comment on the whole breaking-reality thing will be, "I should go."

1732. Orsino appears as a companion from the very start of the game. When he meets a mage who was present at the final quest in DA2, that mage will say: "Orsino? B-but I thought you were dead! I saw the demon body that you used with blood magic! Hawke killed you!"
To which Orsino will say: "So you saw a heavily mutilateddemon body with deep wounds, bleeding heavily, and assumed it was me? Well, I'm alive! I got out just fine."
