Please, make this happen BioWare! It can happen in the Fade. It's a dream, it doesn't have to make sense or have a long term effect on the game.

1769. After years of creating theories, and extensive testing, they have finally created a working algorithm for hairgrowth during the game time. What it means, is that the beards and hair grows during the campaign. So if your playerchar starts with short hair and no beard (males obviously), then only after several months playtime, you can go to game barber and have a longer hairstyle if you wish. With longer hairstyles and beards, you can ofcourse go to a barber and cut them whenever you wish, or have time. Your hairstyle and generic cleanliness will affect the possible love interests. although not always the way you assume it does.
1769a. There will be a dlc later, which adds things like dandruff, partial baldness, fleas and generic bad-hair-day.

The female realism will be like how it is in real life, your female character can get pregnant during the romance scene-unless she is a lesbian, she will have monthly periods via in-game month times, and the load times to changing your characters armor and outfits will take longer to reflect the common concept that women take longer to get ready. With the hygiene stuff the male has to keep up with being the same for females also, if you wanted to your female character can get her hair to fall down all the way to her feet and be a drag - literally.
1769c. We will also find out Isabella has STDs due to her high sexual nature, she gave it to Hawke if your male Hawke romance her.

1782a. Treasure will instead be conveniently stored in narrow-necked jars. If you grab too much at once, your hand will get stuck and your companions will have to slather you with bear grease in order to get it back out again.
