Cassandra in DA2 spoke with what I think was a French accent, or maybe German...I'm not sure but it wasn't that soft accent that Leliana had. In the movie the Dawn of the Seeker her character spoke with a British accent as did most of the Orleasians. Only a few spoke with a French accent, which is what I think they'll do with DA3.

However, if my set protagonist is suppose to be Orleasian, then I would like to have a french accent VO.

I always found it funny people talk about Leliana and her accent, the voice actor is....french, so it's not a "fake" accent.

I loved Leliana's voice, and think the accent they use sounds great, would hope to finally see it/go there at least in DAIII.

i would love to see some dialectical variety of accents, actually. there's a difference in the accents in OUR world between someone who's parisian french, quebecois, belgian, african french, cajun... why not reflect that in orlais?

(also, give us the option to kill anyone as poorly voiced as Isolde or Dulci DeLancet.)

I wouldn't be surprised if we get another Fereldan player character, or maybe half-Fereldan/half-Orlesian just to accommodate a british accent. Think Aveline in DA2. No French accent there, but still ties to Orlais. I wouldn't be mad if we got something similar to Leliana though. Just a subtle hint at an accent, but nothing over the top. As long as it's not like Isolde or the Duke from Mark of the Assassin... Save those more extreme accents for NPCs.
