How will we become an inquisitor? Or are we one already? Discuss! Speculate! Dance!

A few months ago I started a thread back on the DA II forum asking if our MC will be from Ferelden again, do you think it is possible that our hero fled Ferelden during the Blight and was picked up by the church or templars (or whatever organization trains inquisitors) and was trained to be an inquisitor while the Blight (and Hawke rising to Champion) was going on?
Or, was he or she always an inquisitor trained from when he was a child?
Personally, I kind of like the idea of all our heroes being from Ferelden.
But playing as someone from an other land will be interesting too.
Anyway, how you came to be an inquisitor (and your training) could be an interesting prologue/origin story.
Or perhaps you start out as a normal guy or gal again, and become inquisitor during the course of the story?
Discuss!

I think we would likely be one already but alternatively who knows? Maybe we do play our the origin itself and there's several different endings to the origin which change certain parts of the game or maybe it's like DA2 in that it happens somewhere in the story.
*Dances out of thread*

I think you will most likely start out as one. The opening might be your first real mission in the role, or even whatever initiation they have to go through.

"The great nation of Orlais, the most powerful empire in Dragon Age, tears itself apart in civil war. The stout men and women of Ferelden struggle to recover and reclaim their nation from the horde of vile Darkspawn that lay waste to its lands a decade ago. The Chantry, the once-unified faith of the Dragon Age world stands divided. The Templar Order has broken away, claiming the church has become too lax in policing the dangerous powers of the mages. The mage Circles have rebelled, believing the Templars have become too strict, too zealous in their duties, and too quick to slaughter those who dare step out of line.
The World of Dragon Age is on the brink of collapse, and when a desperate gathering in the name of peace becomes the epicenter of a magical blast that decimates the Chantry's leadership, it becomes clear that someone or something is manipulating events to drive the world to chaos.
From the ashes of that explosion, something new arises- the Inquisition. As the Inquisitor, it falls to you to build your power and martial your forces, uncover secrets and build connections across the world. You must explore forgotten places, uncover ancient mysteries and uproot those who would destroy the delicate fabric of the world."
"A portal between the worlds unleashes hords of demons in the land, civil

behind the shadows, drawing the threads which destroy the world. Time
has come for the Inquisition.
Take the Inquisitor's cloak and
lead the only force able of bringing light into the darkness. Choose the
direct method and gather your armies, send spies into the shadows or
engage in a political war, make friends and use your connections
indirectly: it is up to you how you lead the inquisition. But you'll
have to take lead of it from the beginning. Make your player a rogue,
warrior or mage and set up your crew from up to ten complex
companions to lead them against those who attack you by systematically
spying on, revealing and destroying them."

The leaked descriptions don't really offer any solid clues.

...Damn.
Well, I guess that you have an interesting time as a inquisitor no matter how you start.
(Though from the description I'm guessing that inquisitors are still pretty new anyway.)

Some Dude is Inquisiting. He hires you to help him out. Then, a bunch of Crap Happens and he gets killed, dying heroically in your arms and pressing upon you his magic amulet and the desperate hope you will Finish His Inquisiting to Stave Off Utter Ruin. You get the following options:
1. Yes, I will continue your quest beloved master!
2. I don't know if that's such a good idea.
3. Screw you and the horse you rode in on.
Next thing you know, ten billion assassins show up and try to kill you. Guess you'd better do some Inquisiting to get them off your back!
1. Oh, this is worse than I thought! Better get cracking!
2. Yikes, guess I'm screwed. Oh well, off I go.
3. Was that guy the ******* Illusive Man in disguise?! GODDAMMIT. Er, I mean, Maker . . . Damn It. *grumblegrumblegrumble* At least I can now murder tons of dudes. Can I torture some people for information? Yes? HOT DAMN. Oh who the heck is this giving me instructions, the Divine? Screw her too.

Though I'm pretty sure that BioWare said that they would nerf the enemy encounters after DA II, so instead of fighting a billion assassins, it will like be a million or something.
But in all seriousness, I'm almost certain that you could go against the Chantry.
It sounds pretty awesome anyway, and I'll most likely flip off the Divine when given te chance. (just for the hell of it.)

Here you are in your idyllic little village in the middle of friggin nowhere when suddenly Demons rain from the sky/Templars charge in and beat everyone up looking for apostates/the civil war decides your village would make an EXCELLENT battlefield/a dragon eats EVERYONE/space aliens land. Just when you think all is lost, Some Dude from the Inquisition shows up and saves your life. He asks you to come with him so you can be Safe.
While you're camped in the wilderness one night, he mysteriously vanishes. Not knowing what else to do, you pick up your gear and head for the nearest town. Once there, you discover that Everything is Really Suspicious. Also, ten billion assassins show up and try to kill you . . .

To be more specific I want to CHOOSE A BACKSTORY (hinthint) for my character and I want the PC to be dragged into this Inquisitor business by mistake.
Eg. they mistake the PC for someone else or something like that.
Because that would be a lot more fun than starting out as a powerful individual. And it makes for great drama.
Imagine romancing Cassandra and then having to tell her you've kind of maybe been lying to her the whole time. She'll kick your ass into the next game...

"NO IT COULD NOT!!"

So you'll be a mighty Inquisitor hobo?
@Blackrising,
Do you mean like with Mass Effect?
Were you can choose that you're either from Earth, a Colony or a Spacer? (Plus some extra things)
Because I think that that will be a good idea, it won't be the same as playing through an Origin story but it still sounds interesting.

Oh, well, all right. Lemme see here . . .
You're a mercenary just coming off a really tough job when you hear a disturbance in an alley. Thinking to maybe earn some quick cash, you take a look, to discover four Mysterious Cloaked Figures beating the crap out of Some Dude in a ripped-up uniform. You charge in, and the Mysterious Cloaked Figures vanish, leaving only Some Dude who gasps out his last and expires. Since you're broke and don't know who he is, you take his belongings hoping you can either pawn them for money/return them to his family.
However, somebody sees you in the street with your booty.
The next morning, there's a knock at the door. "Hi, we're ten billion assassins . . . ."
