I will go to Obsidian, Bethesda, Ubisoft, 343i, Naughty Dog, Valve, Rock Star, Irrational Games, Eidos Montreal and the many countless talented indie developers currently out there to seek my enjoyment with them, but I will remember the good times fondly, and the less good times... less fondly.
Godspeed, BioWare.
Godspeed.

By "good romance" that other poster probably meant superficial hot lesbian super-model sex.Rawgrim wrote...

You know, the kind that mostly only exists in people's fantasies, and Bioware "f/f" romances.

I wouldn't say Witcher has good "romance". More like, "Hey Trish, want to be my **** buddy?"
Witcher romance is about ******* and moving on. The relationship hardly ever develops. No complexity behind it at all. I woudln't call that game "good romance".

Yes, I own the witcher and the witcher 2 but that's not so much romance as meaningless tumbling around in the hay.Besides I can't register that as a rpg since I can't play a girl

(The Kaiden romance was really good in ME3 though. That table scene, that music)

I thought the romance with Triss is handled very well. especially in the second one, where you can give her a rose in those elven gardens etc.
It never develops though. So, it feels like you're just screwing her because she's modeled after some hot Eastern European nude model. It's not mature, it's juvenile, IMO. Geralt and Trish are suppose to have history. The Witcher doesn't feature it much and they hardly build their relationship up. It's just them falling down elven ruins and Geralt looking at Trish's hot figure and deciding to 69 her(or whatever he does, I forgot). When do they have good conversations outside that part? Or even in Witcher 1? They just don't develop anything behind it at all. Bad character development on the romance swing...if you even want to call it a romance.

Hopefully they don't screw up with the engine. Fingers crossed, but I'm not too optimistic.

I played it and did not consider it a good romance. The romance never delves into anything more than the superficial. One undying rose and temple hot tub bang does not a romance make.
