Personally I'd select the 'perfect' ending, one in which you-know-who lives, a reunion is shown or talked about and the game itself is set 10-20 years after the events of ME3. The galaxy is rebuilding itself, and it is implied that broken Mass Relays can be rebuilt so it should be possible to make new Mass Relays thereby venturing to new worlds and meeting new life forms that did not have access to Mass Relays.
You could be the one commissioned to install new Mass Relays near possible garden worlds and maybe on your expedition you come across a highly advanced civilization (like the humans) who do not yet have access to Mass Relays and hence you can play the part of the Turians in this new 'First Contact War'. Or you could play the part of a member of this new civilization (but that's unlikely since they are not bound to be human). And take the story forward from there.
This scenario gives more opportunities for conflict compared to the Control and Synthesis endings. More conflict, more story and gaming possibilities.
But please mention a reunion or something ... anywhere, even in the codex at the very least.

I would love to be able to choose different races, possibly. I'd love if there was another set of games, btw.
Like...in the wake of the war of the Reapers, there's a power vacuum. The truth about the Asaris having all that info came out...most governments were destabilized...the relays needed rebuilding. And maybe someone is trying to consolidate power. You can either try to reinforce the govt's and stabilize power or further destabilize it and help whomever. Something like that would be cool.

For the idea of choosing your race, I think it would be easy to implement with the voice acting. Not every race would work (krogans would likely have massive clipping issues), but humans and asari would be fine. Turians and quarians would only require a slight change in tone on the voice.
yes i would love to play as a qaurian and if they wouldnt need there helmets anymore they maybe have the same voice as humans have

I don't mind this idea. If we see Quarians though, i wanna see Tali, or at least have mentions of her.Lefardo wrote...
What I would like to see in the next mass effect game? Tricky question. The Next mass effect game should have the possibility to select race/gender/appearance. I think that the "enemy" in ME4 should be Raloi (the race that discovered space flight in 2184). Also, possibly krogans, because they just can't live in peace. ME4 should have a lot better journal than ME3. I see ME4 to take place about 50 years after ME3. I wanna see how my choices affected to the galaxy. You could mayby even see some characters from previous games. Also, I want to see a lot of quarians.

I've been told that the bioware wants to "take distance" from Shepard and that's okay, but I would also enjoy seeing my old team. With the extended cut, Shepard got peaceful end for his tale and I just feel like it would be great to see if Garrus ever got back to Palaven or did Tali build herself a beachouse on Rannoch.

In video games you can respawn and start over, so damn it !! Respawn and lets do it again. Never mind this finality crap you guys have currently been trying to out do each other with across the game company world, yeah yeah everyone dies after we sell 4 million copies yada yada.
These are video games, the reason they sell is because the good guy always do win. If you kill CMD Sheppard you are killing yourself and thats exactly what all the other game companies wanted you to do. We will not invest in ME4, unless Sheppard, yet again finds himself able to conquer the impossible and walk away unscathed as usual.
Listen to this guy in a different post.... he knows....

""" It would seem because of a lack of time or just a lack of creative juices ME3 fell short on continuity or at least the perfection we are used to in the ME series so far. Hindsight has made Bioware realize Commander Sheppard could have lived or that Leviathan could have saved the day, the earth and the relays, hell they even realized they missed an entire mission with good old Omega. if all goes well we wouldn't have to watch some patch job like the cooky omnipotent Sheppard be the "Sheppard" for all life in the universe and universe unknown.
Bioware is now hard at work scrounging old Scifi plots and hopefully the entire fan base they blew off while spending too much time counting their wads of cash. That they have stumbled upon a happy fix that could glue everything back together, putting Sheppard back in the drivers seat and making Bioware look cool - like they knew it all along, and they were just toying with our heads.
Two words... Time Travel.
The one aspect of glorious technology that has been forgotten or never actualised in the ME universe is Time Travel. Leak has it Bioware is putting us back in a similar situtation as in ME2 when we found Sheppard aboard the Normandy but only to quickly find him lost drifting into cold dead space. In ME"4" its kind of reversed, we already know Sheppard is doomed, but we don't know how he is going to put it all together or if he will be able to master the caveats of time jumping.
So what are they doing over there ? What will Sheppard do as he jumps through time, will he redeem the illusive man and stop him from going too far? Save Mordin ? Find Leviathon well before the invasion and build a super duper army of mega reaper stopping machines? Will Cane live -will Sheppard find the cure ? What about the consort back in Citadel pre-Collectors, what does she have to say? What about Legion, how does he help Sheppard face the unreality of time travel without changing the universe he just left behind? How will the ME universe change with each trip back in time, will the Citadel look the same- Will the Citadel even exist this time you jump or will it be gone because you took a drink at that bar in possible reality number 4 ? How does Sheppard handle bumping into himself or his love interest who thinks he is really "the one" who just left the room a minute ago? What does a universe of indoctrinated humans look like ? What lies ahead after her fixes everything or if he chooses not to fix everything ?
For legal/breach of confidentiality reasons I cannot reveal the source of the leak. This apparently comes from a brainstorming session."""

A sequel, after any ending - your pick, I think they'd all be interesting - with no save game import. Have it set long enough after ME3 that it doesn't really matter. This opens the door for new technology, new races, new political systems and governments, new conflicts, etc.
Have Karpyshyn do the writing.
Maybe have a dark energy story line (remember Haestrom. Object Rho, and the Alpha Relay?), exploring past the Omega 4 relay or other mass relays in general, finding a new galaxy, new races, etc.? A lot of the allure of the Mass Effect series for me was the revelations about the geth (ME), the Collectors (ME2), and the Reapers. I'd want more of that experience, exploring new territory, new planets, gradually piecing together something monstrous and intriguing. Maybe set up a conflict involving a mysterious race or technology?
In any case, the ME series has a formula that can yield a wonderful game. The characterization, the gameplay, the universe... all it needs is a new plot. Since this would be the start of a new series/trilogy in the ME universe, I would not expect save game imports or catering to every possible ending of ME3. I just want to see how creative BioWare can get with any of the endings as a launching pad for a new world of wonder. I want just as much, if not more, discovery during the new ME game as in any of the previous.

3. Dyre situations need fast decisions: there could be a new feature which is timed dialogues. You'd have a few seconds to decide what to do.
please don't - interrupts are nice, but also hectic, so please do not add more of that.
it is (and should be) and rpg not FPS with a little rpg tacked on!

ps: but yeah, i would like facial expressions and body language (that either change with what you say (and i mean really change, in a lord of the rings Gollum kind of way) and some you can decide while opening talks - or while talking (meaning: you could for example say nothing and just nod/shake your head or smile or you can open talks with a smile (being friendly - or a cold blood freezing smile) or with a drawn gun (as an open threat etc.) or make a small gesture (maybe a veiled threat?) etc.
